Written examination for recruitment against physically handicapped quota will be conducted by South Eastern Railway on 16-09-2012 (Sunday) in both sessions (Morning & Afternoon) as per programme given below :
Date of Written Exam : 16th September 2012
Morning Session : 10.00 hrs to 11.30 hrs
Afternoon Session : 14.30 hrs to 16.00 hrs

The call letters indicating time and venue of examination for the written examination to the provisionally eligible candidates for the categories as notified in Employment Notice No. P/PWD (HQ)/1/2012 dated 07.07.2012 are being despatched to the eligible applicants at the individual address given in the application form. South Eastern Railway will not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong delivery.

Duplicate / Corrected call letters will be issued to provisionally eligible applicants who do not receive his / her call letter in time and / or for rectifying any discrepancy in respect of name, category no., post, community, mismatch of photograph etc., from the office of

(between 11.00 hours and 17.00 hours) from 10th to 15thSeptember 2012. Candidates should bring along with them, two clear copies of passport size photographs, document in proof of his/her identity in original and a self-attested copy of matric certificate.

No duplicate / corrected call letter will be issued on the day of examination. No free second class Railway pass will be issued to SC/ST applicant for obtaining duplicate call letter. Duplicate call letter will not have free travel facility either. It may be noted that merely calling a candidate for final written examination does not in any way entitle him/her to an appointment in the railways. The candidature of each candidate is purely provisional and is subject to his/her fulfilling the eligibility criteria in all respects.

Note : Candidates who have opted for the assistance of Scribe may receive TWO CALL LETTERS, one for self only as applicable for normal case and another call letter together with ADMISSION LETTER FOR SCRIBE. They are accordingly advised to appear in the written test with the call letter issued along with ADMISSION LETTER FOR SCRIBE in the VENUE mentioned therein. The call letter issued for self-appearing must be surrendered before the Invigilator.

Candidates, who had not applied for a SCRIBE earlier but intend to do so, may, on receipt of call letter, suitably inform the Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata – 700 043 in advance, as per Annexure-VI, in prescribed format as notified earlier.
