I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE :
1.Name of the post : Professor in Paediatric Surgery
No. of post : 1
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37,400-67,000+Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/-
Age : Not exceeding 50 years.
Educational & other qualifications :
Essential :
(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (ii) Post-graduate Degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent
(iii) 12 years standing in the profession out of which at least 6 years experience should be in the concerned speciality as Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in a Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite Postgraduate degree qualification.
(iv) Extensive practical and administrative experience. (v) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : (i) Knowledge of Marathi.

2.Name of the post : Associate Professor in Paediatric Surgery
No. of post : 1
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
Age : Not exceeding 45 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications :
Essential :
(i) A recognised Medical Qualification included in the first or the Second Schedule or part II of the Third schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in part II of the Third schedule should also fulfill the condition stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act. 1956.
(ii) Post-Graduate Degree Qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent
(iii) At least 3 years experience in the concerned speciality as Assistant Professor in a Medical College/Teaching Institution after the requisite Post-Graduate degree qualification.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : (i) Knowledge of Marathi.

3.Name of the post : Assistant Professor in Paediatric Surgery
No. of post : 2
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+ Rs. 6,600/- Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
Educational & other qualifications :
Essential :
(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
(ii) Post-graduate Degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent
(iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Lecturer or in an equivalent teaching post in a Medical College / Teaching Institution after the requisite Post-graduate degree qualification.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : (i) Knowledge of Marathi.

4.Name of the post : Lecturer in Paediatric Surgery

Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600 /-
Age : Not exceeding 45 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications :

Essential : (i) Ph.D. Degree with First Class Degree at Master’s or Bachelor’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology.
(ii) 10 years experience in Teaching/Industry/Research in the appropriate branch of Engineering out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor and/or equivalent.
(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : (i) Knowledge of Marathi
