4. The candidates figuring in the list have not attained the qualifying standards fixed by the Commission for Select List for the post of Hindi Typist. Therefore, the candidates in this list will be en-bloc junior to the candidates in the Select List of the above examination.

5. Resolution of Tie-Cases (as per Notice of Examination): If there were candidates for a particular post having the same aggregate marks in both Paper-I and Paper-II/Paper-III of the Examination then the tie was resolved by referring to the total marks of Paper-II/Paper-III of the examination i.e. a candidate having more marks in Paper-II/Paper-III was given preference, wherever such papers were prescribed. If the tie still persisted then the total marks in Paper-I of the examination were referred to i.e. a candidate having more marks in this Paper was given preference. This procedure was followed by Date of Birth, i.e., the candidate older in age getting preference. Lastly, if the tie still persisted, the tie was finally resolved by referring to the alphabetical order of names, i.e., a candidate whose name begins with the alphabet which comes first in the alphabetical order was given preference.

6. The above said List is purely provisional and subject to the recommended candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the respective post in the Notice of Examination and also subject to thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc., on the application forms, admission certificates, etc. The candidature of the candidates are liable to be cancelled by respective Regional Directors in case candidates found not fulfilling the eligibility conditions or any other genuine reasons.
