VISVA – BHARATI RESEARCH ELIGIBILITY TEST (VBRET) – 2012 FOR PALLI – SIKSHA BHAVANA
PALLI – SIKSHA BHAVANA (The Institute of Agriculture ) will conduct VISVA – BHARATI RESEARCH ELIGIBILITY TEST (VBRET) – 2012 FOR PALLI – SIKSHA BHAVANA. This test is mandatory for those Non – NET qualified candidates for pursuing Ph.D. programme. Interested candidates can apply and appear in the test at their own cost.

Eligibility : Must secure 55 % marks or B+ grade in Masters degree of the concerned or allied subjects from any recognized university/ Institute. Relaxation in qualifications is available for different categories of candidates ( SC, ST, OBC and PH)as per Government of India rules as applicable at the time of VBRET-2012 test.

Validity : VBRET will remain valid for Two years from the date of publication of result.

VBRET-2012 TEST MODE : Written Test for Three hours duration.
Paper – I : English and General Knowledge - 40 Marks
Paper – II : Relevant subject - 60 Marks.

Qualifying Marks of VBRET -2012 : Thirty (30) per cent marks obtained separately in Paper – I & Paper II .

Admit Card : Admit card will be issued on 11Th & 13Th September,2012 between 11.00a.m – 5.00p.m and bring two passport size photographs for the same.

Date, Time and Venue of VBRET -2012 : September 14, 2012 ( Friday ) Time : 10.30 a.m .
Venue : Respective Department of Palli - Siksha Bhavana.

How to Apply :
1. Apply in Plain Paper (Computer typed A-4 Size ) with following particulars: Name; Name of Father; Name of Guardian; Present and Permanent Address including telephone number, e-mail ID, Fax ; Date of Birth ; Category ( General/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH), Research Experience; Broad Discipline of Research
2.Application must include a set of relevant attested copies of mark sheets and other testimonials which should reach to concerned Head on or before 4th September, 2012. Incomplete application is liable to be rejected.
3.Candidates who have qualified in VBRET -2011 need not apply again.
