REQUIREMENT OF JUNIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL) FOR PHASE-III PROJECTS OF DMRC ON CONTRACT BASIS FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Ltd, a Joint Venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid Transit System for Delhi.

Qualification :
Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering with 65% marks from reputed Government Institutes

Max Age as on 01/07/12 : 28 years

Pay Scale : Rs. 13500-25520 (IDA) Basic Pay + 35 % Perks + prevalent DA in IDA + 30% HRA+ Site Allowances as applicable.

Remuneration : Life and accident Insurance, Group Savings Linked Insurance, Superannuation Pension Scheme etc

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
The candidates will be subjected to Paragraph Writing (Technical topics/General topics) and interview. The names of the candidates, who qualify the Interview, will be uploaded in our website on 02/08/12. The shortlisted candidates will be sent for medical examination on 08/08/12 in “A-3” standard, the details of which is available at DMRC website. Since the requirement is urgent, the selected candidates will be required to join the post immediately.

How to Apply :
The willing candidates may appear for “Walk In Interview” on the following dates at 9:00 AM sharp at the following venue with all original documents and proof of qualifying Diploma in Civil Engineering with 65% marks and the SC/ST/OBC Certificates (OBC Certificate should be in Central Format and should be issued within one year).

Note :

** The requirement is for Delhi, however, the selected candidates can be posted at any of DMRC Project offices in Delhi, NCR, Jaipur, Kochi, etc.

Parametric studies on the behavior of Reinforced soil retaining walls in cut and cover method.
The objective of the study is to investigate the behavior of Diaphragm walls. This study describes some of the key features about Diaphragm walls. Diaphragm wall parametric study using geo-structural software wallap. Performance of the wall based on wall properties, Modulus of elasticity of wall, Depth of embedment, Spacing of temporary struts during different excavation stages and predicted results, in such as Bending moment, Shear force and Deflections are discussed.

Experimental Studies on Prevention of Corrosion in Transmission Line Tower Foundations using Admixtures and Chemicals.
This Project explains about the corrosion of reinforcement in RC structures. And coating protective to the reinforcement & addition of admixtures to the concrete is one of the best methods of controlling corrosion in the structure. The effect of providing coatings on reinforcement, addition of admixture in concrete, CIH & barrier coatings on structure against corrosion had been investigated in the laboratory under accelerates environmental condition.
