Applications are invited for the following temporary posts (initially for 4 years) in the DBT-TANUVAS partnership initiative on “Translational Research Platform for Veterinary Biologicals” (TRPVB) at TANUVAS. The Vision of TRPVB is “To converge the presently distant research, industry and regulatory requirements to foster „productization? in the field of Veterinary Vaccines and Diagnostics”

Name of the Post : Director
Age : below 55 years but older candidates who are exceptional may also apply
ESSENTIAL : PhD with a working knowledge of product development in the area of vaccines and diagnostics and their translational realization, experience in the design, implementation, monitoring and management of clinical trials, validation and challenge experiments. The candidate should be an eminent scientist from India or Persons of Indian origin with a proven scientific record in the area of life sciences and with excellent leadership skills
DESIRABLE : Management skills, Experience in initiating product realization and in depth knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and validation and regulatory requirements of veterinary vaccines and diagnostics
SKILLS : The Director must demonstrate strong scientific evaluation ability. He / She must possess excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior leaders within the organization and outside.
Salary : Rs.1,65,000/- per month and 5% increase every year

ESSENTIAL : Ph.D. or M.D. with minimum of 10 years experience in Academia or Industry in the area of Vaccines / Diagnostics.
DESIRABLE : Experience in development and validation of veterinary vaccines and diagnostics
Salary : Rs. 1,35,000 per month and 5% increase every year

Essential : Ph.D. in any Life Sciences or M.Pharm or M.V.Sc. or M.D. or M.Tech in Biotechnology or its equivalent degree in any convergent science from a recognized University plus a minimum of 5 years in an applied research and/or development environment (Postdoctoral work may serve as experience)
Desirable : Should possess experience in Translational Research, Technology Transfer, IP Management, mass antigen production, lateral flow technology and microfluidics etc.
Salary : Rs. 1,00,000 per month and 5% increase every year

Essential : M.Sc or M. Tech in Biotechnology or its equivalent degree in any convergent science from a recognized University and should possess minimum 2 Help in establishment, running, maintenance and validation of the biosafety laboratories and animal houses Rs. 50,000 per month 1 years experience in running a biosafety level 3 facility or related work experience
Desirable : Registered or certified biological safety professional or undergone bio safety training program are preferred

Desirable : Two years experience in Bioinformatic analysis / programming in addition to data management and computer skills
