CIVIL SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION 2012

Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2012 on 20/05/2012 (Sunday) all over India. The Commission has uploaded the e-Admission Certificate for the convenience of the admitted candidates (or the reasons/ grounds for rejection of application in respect of rejected applications) on its website (http://www.upsc.gov.in.).

The candidates are advised to download their e-Admission Certificate and take a printout thereof. The admitted candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-Admission Certificate at the allotted venue for appearing in the examination.

In case the photograph is not visible or available on the e-Admission Certificate, candidates are advised to carry two (2) identical photographs (one photograph for each session) along with proof of Identity such as Identity Card or Voter Identity Card or Passport or Driving License and the printout of e-Admission Certificate at the venue of the Examination. No paper Admission Certificate will be issued for this examination.

The candidates are advised to take a printout of the e-Admission Certificate (or the reasons/ grounds for rejection of application in respect of rejected applications) well in advance (by 16th of May, 2012) to avoid the last minute rush. In the past, cases have been noticed where some candidates have faced difficulty in accessing the server at the last minutes on account of server overload.

i) * ENTER YOUR REGISTRATION ID.
ii) * SELECT DATE OF BIRTH ( DD/MM/YYYY )
iii) * PLEASE ENTER THE CHARACTERS AS SHOWN IN THE IMAGE BELOW
iv) Click on the Submit Button

2) If you Select ROLL NO
i) * ENTER YOUR ROLL NO.
ii) * SELECT DATE OF BIRTH ( DD/MM/YYYY )
iii) * PLEASE ENTER THE CHARACTERS AS SHOWN IN THE IMAGE BELOW
iv) Click on the Submit Button

3) If you Select BY NAME
i) * ENTER YOUR NAME
ii) * ENTER YOUR FATHER'S NAME
iii) * SELECT DATE OF BIRTH ( DD/MM/YYYY )
iv) * PLEASE ENTER THE CHARACTERS AS SHOWN IN THE IMAGE BELOW
v) Click on the Submit Button

The e-Admit Card Application would be best viewed in I E 6.0 onwards

Candidates are also advised to bring Black Ball Point Pen to the examination hall on the day of examination.

MOBILE PHONES BANNED
(a) Mobile Phones, Pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises, where UPSC Examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action against the concerned candidates including ban from future Examinations/Selection.

(b) Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping cannot be assured.

Sir,
Since the last 4 days I have been trying to download my admit card from the web site but when ever i visit the Admit Card Page i get an error message saying that the page you are looking for is not found and this is before i even enter my registration Id and date of birth. Just wanted to know that are others to facing this issue or is it just me

I did not get my admit card for entrance exam of NDA 2012. when i opened that link which you mentioned on site, I couln't find my admit card. so now what should i do to get my admit card to appear in the examination of NDA 2012?
