In pursuance of the orders of the Government in G.O.Ms.No.254 Finance (SMPC-1) Dept. Dt.03-12-2011 applications are invited online through the prescribed APPLICATION to be made available on website apms.cgg.gov.in from 29-02-2012 to 16-03-2012 for recruitment of 7100 posts i.e. Principals (355)
Post Graduate Teachers (4615)
and Trained Graduate Teachers (2130) -2012
for Model Schools in the State through State Selection Committee.

The Vacancy position is given below in the Table. Upto 1/3 of the posts may be filled by Deputation from persons working in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan/Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi/ Central schools under the control of Govt. of India. Actual appointments will be restricted to the number required in relation to the opening of Model Schools/Classes/Sections.

The applicants have to pay a fee of Rs.250/- towards application processing for the recruitment test for each post through APONLINE or eseva between 28-02-2012 to 15-03-2012. The last date for payment of fee is 15.03.2012 and the last date for submission of application online is 16.03.2012.

AGE: for PGTs & TGTs Applicants must have completed the minimum age of 18 years and must not have completed the maximum age of 39 years as on 1st July 2012.

Written Test: The written tests are scheduled on 10-05-2012 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for PGTs and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for TGTs. For Principal posts from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on 11.05.2012. The centres shall be constituted depending upon the number of applications received and will be communicated in the Hall Ticket through website.

The qualification for APMS TGT is as follows:
1) Four year Integrated degree course from Regional Institute of Education
of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate ; ( or )
Second Class Bachelor’s Degree from UGC recognized University with at
least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) and in aggregate including
electives and Languages

2) Must have studied in English Medium at any two levels of School/
Junior College / Degree College except for the post of TGT (Telugu)
&TGT (Hindi).

3) B.Ed

4) Must have passed A.P TET Paper-II or its equivalent.

So, if you qualify these, you are eligible in concerned specialization of your degree.

By backlog, you mean arrears? You need to have completed (it means no backlog) the degree when applying.

For TGT, you have to have at least 2 levels of English medium study.

Based on the two quotes below, I can see that there is reservation but I cant see a reference to relaxation in marks for reserved candidates. The minimum qualifying mark stays at 50 %

i) The rule of reservation to local candidates is applicable and the provisions of

1975 and amendments thereto shall be followed strictly.
ii) The rule of special representation in the matter of appointment of candidates
belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes,
Physically Challenged, Ex-servicemen and Women is applicable as per Rule 22
of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 as amended
from time to time.

sir,all my education is in english medium and i have my B.Ed with distinction and qualified in aptet ,but i have passed my B.sc by supplementary with percentage62 it is pass division mentioned in my memo not first is this any problem in my eligibility for tgt Pls. reply because i am confused with second class bachelors degree mentioned in tgt eligibility criteria Pls help to avoid this confusion

what do the second class bachelors degree mean in the eligibility of tgt?50 percent in aggregate or single attempt pass because supplementary pass students even if they have more percent only pass division will be given in memo Pls clarify my doubt.

What is age relaxation for different categories

AGE: for PGTs & TGTs Applicants must have completed the minimum age of 18 years and must not have completed the maximum age of 39 years as on 1st July 2012. However, in case of BC/SC/ST, the maximum age limit is 44 years and in case of Physically Challenged 49 years. For Principal post applicants shall be between 35 and 50 years as on 1st July 2012.
