University of Petroleum & Energy Studies has been awarded a project on “Establishment and Demonstration of Hydrogen Production and Utilization Facility through Photovoltaic-Electrolyzers System at Solar Energy Centre (SEC), Gwalpahari, Gurgaon”, sponsored by Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. UPES invites applications / resumes for the following positions :

Junior Research Fellow(JRF)/Senior Research Fellow(SRF)/Project Fellow :
Eligibility Criteria :
JRF : leading to PhD Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences and NET qualified or
Graduate Degree in professional courses and GATE or equivalent qualification (Basic Salary of Rs. 16,000 p.m + 30% HRA) or
JRF leading to PhD Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences who have NET qualified for Lectureship (Basic Salary of Rs. 12,000 + 30% HRA) or
JRF leading to PhD Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses (Basic Salary of Rs. 18,000 + 30% HRA)

NOTE : After 2 years JRF would be promoted to SRF or persons with 2 years of experience would be hired as SRFs. Masters degree in Science and more than 2 years experience would be preferred for Project Fellow.

Research Associate(RA) :
Eligibility Criteria :
Doctorate (PhD/MD/MS/MDS) or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/MPharm/ME/M.Tech (Basic Salary Rs. 22,000 + 30% HRA) (Candidates with experience in Chemical/ Electrical/Energy Systems/Environmental Sciences with at least 2 years experience would be preferred and Selection of grade/post based on committee recommendations)

Technical assistant – 2 Positions :
Eligibility Criteria :
Graduates having minimum 4 -5 years of experience in secretarial and coordination activities – 2 Nos. (Fixed Salary of Rs. 10,000-12,000 (based on committee recommendation)
B.Sc/Diploma in Engg. with relevant 2-3 years of experience or ITI with 5 years of experience and multitask handling experience in preferably Electrical or Mechanical field – 2 Nos. (Fixed Salary of Rs. 10,000-12,000 (based on committee recommendation)
