Attention of all the concerned is drawn to our Advertisement No.PD/HRDD/REC/03/2011 dated 21.12.2011 published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar issue dated 07 – 13, January, 2012 and displayed in the Bank’s website syndicatebank.in inviting applications from eligible candidates who have taken the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS, Mumbai on 18.09.2011 and 13.11.2011, fulfilling eligibility criteria.

In terms of Clause No. 2 (6) of the above advertisement, the Bank has shortlisted the candidates for final interview who have scored following cut off Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) (out of 250 TWSS) or more in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS, Mumbai on 18.09.2011 and 13.11.2011.

The names of shortlisted candidates for interview for the post of Probationary Officers in JMGS – I are detailed in the enclosed Annexure - I. The interview for the shortlisted candidates will be commenced from 15.03.2012 at selected centres. The full address of the Interview Venue and the name and contact number of the contact person at each centre is furnished separately in the website. The above list is purely provisional subject to verification of all details furnished by the applicants in their application. The list is NEITHER a list of candidates selected for appointment in the Bank NOR there is any commitment on the part of the Bank to offer appointment to the candidates. This is only a list of candidates shortlisted for interview. No further correspondence or telephone queries from candidates whose names are not appearing in the list will be entertained. Disclaimer: Though utmost care has been taken while shortlisting the candidates for interview, the Bank reserves the right to rectify inadvertent errors, if any. Call letters to the shortlisted candidates advising them to appear for interview containing the details of venue, date and time are being sent by E-Mail alongwith SMS alert to the Mobile number registered in the application respectively. The eligible shortlisted candidates are also requested to download their interview call letters from our Bank’s website from 03.03.2012. Please note that Call letters will not be sent by post.

Candidates whose name appear in the above list of shortlisted candidates and who do not receive the E-Mail Call letter/SMS alert report on or before 08.03.2012, may contact Shri C Rama Mohan Rao, Asst. At the time of interview, the candidates are requested to bring the following certificates/documents in original for verification along with one set of self attested photocopy of each of the document, arranged in the order set out herein.

1. Downloaded Interview Call letter: The eligible shortlisted candidates are requested to download their interview call letters from our Bank’s website from 03.03.2012. The candidate shall securely paste a copy of the same photograph he/she has earlier affixed on the Application Form, on the right hand corner of the Interview Call letter in the space provided for and submit a copy of the interview call letter to the Liaison Officer at the Interview Centre while reporting for the interview.
2. Downloaded application form submitted for appearing Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS, Mumbai.
3. A copy of the downloaded application form submitted for the post of probationary Officer in Syndicate Bank, in terms of Bank’s advertisement No.PD/HRDD/REC/03/2011 dated 21.12.2011 published in Employment News dated 07 – 13, January, 2012.
4. IBPS Score Card: A copy of the IBPS Score Card containing the TWSS Marks has to be produced.
5. Caste/Tribe/Community/disability Certificate as per the format enclosed issued by the competent Authority (Applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Category).
6. SSC/SSLC/10th Standard or equivalent Certificate as a Proof of date of birth:
7. Higher Secondary/12th Standard Marks Certificate.
8. Graduation Marks Cards for all the years/Semesters on the basis of which the candidate has claimed eligibility for the post of Probationary Officer, clearly indicating the percentage of marks scored in the aggregate. Candidates who pass Degree examination after 01.07.2011 are not eligible.
9. Post Graduation Certificate, if any, and Marks Card/CGPA/OGPA – issued by the University.
10. Computer Course Certificate, if any from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, MICE, STQC, CMC or GNIIT from NIIT or DOE ACC Courses/Certificates (O,A,B,C level) or from a recognised Computer Training Institute for having completed Diploma in Computer Operations. In case of those who had Computer Science subject covering M S Word, MS Office, Excel, Access etc., as one of the Subjects at the Graduation/Post graduation level, the relevant mark sheet should be highlighted.
11. Original fee paid challan: The eligible candidates are requested to produce the fee paid challan in original, as a proof for payment of fees while applying for the post of Probationary Officer in Syndicate Bank.
12. Bio-data of the candidates: The Bio-data form has to be filled in by the candidate in his/her own handwriting and submitted at the time of interview. All the columns should be filled in and if any column is not applicable, write NA. The original Bio-data form duly filled in and signed shall be submitted at the time of interview. The format of the Bio-data form is furnished in our website.
13. ID Card: Candidates have to bring Photo Identity Card (Pan Card/Passport/Voters ID/Driving License/Bank Pass Book with attested Photo) without fail, while attending the interview A set of photocopies of each of the applicable documents from Sl. No.1 to 10 and originals in Sl. No. 11 & 12 shall be arranged chronologically & in the same order as set out here in above and shall be submitted during the interview.

All the copies shall be in A4 size white paper only. Candidates who come for interview without the original certificates and one set of self attested copies shall not be allowed for interview. Candidates shall ensure that they fulfill each of the eligibility criteria stipulated in the advertisement for the post of Probationary Officer in JMGS – I, in Syndicate Bank. Failure to fulfill the stipulated eligibility criteria will entail the cancellation of candidature at any stage. The decision of the IBPS, Mumbai in all matters relating to the interview and selection would be final and binding on all the candidates.
