RECRUITMENT OF SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER)

Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens for filling up 10 vacancies of SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER) Group „B? Non-Gazetted on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITB Police Force. The posts have all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules.

Pay Scale : PB-II, Rs.9300–34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- per month.

Age : Between 20 to 25 years (Cut off date for determining the age will be 29-02-2012)

Educational and Professional qualifications :
Matriculation or equivalent with a Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government.

APPLICATION FEE :
The candidates belonging to General and OBC categories will be required to pay Rs 50/- (Non refundable) as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS)/IPO or Bank Draft. Bank Draft should be prepared in favour of ACCOUNTS OFFICER, DIRECTORATE GENERAL, ITB POLICE, NEW DELHI, PAYABLE AT SBI, R.K. PURAM, NEW DELHI ( BANK CODE-1076). No fee will be charged from SC/ST & Ex-servicemen candidates. The candidates opting for CRFS should affix the CRFS at specified space in application form and get them cancelled as well.

ENCLOSURES REQUIRED TO BE ATTACHED WITH APPLICATION Attested photo copy of following be attached with the application form :-
a) Educational & professional certificate.
b) Date of birth certificate (Matriculation or 10th Class certificate or certificate issued by National Open School/National Institute of Open School as Proof of date of birth.
c) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC certificate (if belonging to any of these categories) issued by an authority not lower than Tehsildar or SDM.
Note:- SC/ST & OBC certificate as applicable must be in prescribed proforma as given at annexure-„III? & „IV?.
d) Domicile Certificate issued by local revenue authorities for verification of citizenship.
e) Discharge certificate in case of Ex-Servicemen.
f) Certificate as per Annexure-‘V’ for claiming relaxation in height & chest (if applicable).
g) Two latest passport size photographs. (One pasted on application form and another on admit card duly attested by a Gazetted Officer).
h) IPO/Bank Draft of Rs.50/- (for UR & OBC candidates only).
i) Two self addressed envelopes of 4”x 9” size with Rs. 5/- postage stamps affixed on each envelope.
j) Envelope containing Application must be superscribed in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER) IN ITBP”.

In BHEL, I joined the 'Balancing Practices of Steam Turbine & Turbo Generator Rotator Department'. I was trained on the balancing of turbines and generators. This training program also included the working of the steam turbines, DC motors, generators and rotators.

7 INFRARED OBJECT COUNTER (Pre-final Year) :
Description : Infrared Object Counter can be useful system for counting people at offices, other public places and objects in industries.

My Role : Development of the working model. Also, presented and demonstrated the working of the project.

8 UID CODE FOR STOLLEN CAR(Final Year) :
Description : The idea behind this project is developing a smart logic to identify the stolen cars at the check posts. At present, there is no technology to identify the stolen car at the check post by any means. To implement this logic we issue one Unique Identification Code to every car. This ID cannot be changed. The card or ID are also not available in the market. The unique ID is stored in a silicon chip and installed with the engine of the car. This unique ID can be reported when the car is stolen and can be tracked at the check posts with the help of this ID.
No one can change this number. This card or number is not available in the market.
My Role : Development of the working model.
