    I. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES

    1. Senior Consultants :-
    (i) Ophthalmic Surgeon ... 2 Posts ( 1 resvd for PH)

    Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
    Age : Not exceeding 40 years.
    Essential :
    (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
    (ii) Post Graduate Degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in speciality concerned.
    (iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma.
    (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
    Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.

    2. Junior Physician … 5 posts (1 resvd for PH and 1 resvd for OBC)
    3. Public Health Dentist … 1 post resvd for CFF

    Essential :
    i) Atleast second class Master’s degree in Indian History/ Archaeology/Arabic/Persion/Museology/Art and Culture/ Sanskrit /Pali/ Prakrit from a recognised University or equivalent.
    (ii) One years experience of Curatorial work in a Government Museum or any reputed public Museums of trusts, etc.
    iii) knowledge of Konkani.

    III. DIRECTORATE OF SOCIAL WELFARE

    6. District Welfare Officer (North and South) … 2 Posts (1 resvd for PH)
    Scale of pay : Rs.9300-34800+4200/-
    Age : Not exceeding 40 years.
    Educational & Other Qualifications :-
    Essential :-
    (i) Degree in Social Service or Social Welfare or Social work or Social Work or Sociology or Psychology from a recognised University or equivalent.
    (ii) 5 years experience in Social Work in any Government recognised Social Welfare Organization.
    (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
