    Recruitment against Scout/Guide Quota for the year 2010-11

    Closing Date and time of receipt of applications 18/08/2011 At 18:00hrs.
    Closing Date and time of receipt of applications for residents of Andaman & Nicobar & Lakshadweep 25/08/2011 At 18:00hrs.

    Applications received after closing date shall not be entertained.

    Applications are invited from the citizens of India for recruitment against Scounts & Guides quota for the year 2010-11 for 2 posts in the pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- The eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed format.

    Educational Qualification/Conditions For Recruitment Against S& G Quota.

    Minimum SSC passed from any recognized Board.

    The candidates should have the following certificates in support of his/her Scouts & Guides qualification :-

    A President’s Scount/Guide/Ranger/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR A pre HWB trained Scout Leader/Advanced Trained Guide/Leader/Captain.

    Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active.

    Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level OR Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guide activities at Unit/District level.

    Explanatory Note : At least in the recent past i.e. during 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10 and should continue to be active i.e. during 2010-11 (Till the date of issue of Notification) as per Format-Events.

    Candidate should have attended at least one National Event besides one or two State Level Events.

    The International/National/State/District level Certificates should be with Competent Authority’s signature.

    Age : The age limit 18-33 years as on 01.07.2011.

    How to apply :
    Application shall be submitted on A-4 size, quality white paper and should be in conformity with the format given in this own handwriting (English/Hindi) on only one side of the paper, dated and signed. Use only international memerals (1,2,3 etc). The candidate should affix his/her Norman (English/Hindi) signature in the application form. (Applicant’s signature in short form/capital letters/spaced out letters will be treated as invalid). Each candidate should send only one application.
