NOTIFICATION

RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS (Open Advertisement) QUOTA 2011-12

Closing date : 30.08.2011

Applications are invited from talented and outstanding sports persons having minimum sports norms as given in Para 3 below on the prescribed format for recruitment in Gr. ‘C’ posts against Sports Quota 2011-12 on North Central Railway, in the following games :

The recruitment are to be done in the following field of Sports.

Total : 16

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
a) For the post having GP ` 1800 – Pass in Matric or ITI or its equivalent.
b) For the post having GP ` 1900 & 2000 – Pass in Matric with 50 % or higher education.
c) For the post having GP ` 2400 (Technical) – Pass 10 + 2 stage in Higher Secondary in Science i.e. Maths or Physics or equivalent
d) For the post having GP ` 2800 – A university Degree or its equivalent.

AGE : 18 - 25 years as on 01.01.2012. No age relaxation is permissible.

HOW TO APPLY :
Application as per the format enclosed at annexure ‘A’ shall be submitted on A-4 size good quality paper. The application format should be in English or Hindi language only and should be filled in English or Hindi only. The applications submitted in other than English or Hindi languages will be summarily rejected. The application should be filled in by the candidate in his/her own handwriting and signed. The candidate has to affix one recent passport size photograph duly self attested on the application in the space provided for the purpose. Candidate is also advised to attach one extra passport size self attested photograph along with the application.

EXAMINATION FEE :
The candidates have to send a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of FA&CAO/NCR paybale at Allahabad and as detailed below :
a) For the post having GP ` 2400 – 2800 – ` 60.
b) For the post having GP ` 1800, 1900 & 2000 – ` 40.

WHOM TO APPLY :
Application complete in all respects should be sent in a cover addressed to Assistant Personnel Officer/IR., North Central Railway, Headquarters office, Saraswati Block, Subedarganj, Allahabad -211033 so as to reach on or before last date. Application may also be dropped in the box kept in the CPO’s Office, Saraswati Block, Headquarters office, Subedarganj, N.C. Railway, Allahabad on any working day (Monday to Friday) between 09.30 hrs to 18.00 hrs on or before last date.

NOTE : The applications should reach on or before 30.08.2011.
Candidates belonging to Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep Islands closing date would be 14.09.2011, time upto 18.00 hrs. Such candidates should enclose a domicile certificate of Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep Islands from and appropriate authority of the Andaman, Nicobar Administration or a certificate from a school or college last attended in Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep certifying that the candidate has passed his/her examination from the school/college situated in Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep
