RECRUITMENT OF PARA MEDICAL STAFF IN SSB 2011

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the following vacancies of Group- B & C Non-Gazetted ( combatised ) Para Medical Staff in Sashastra Seema Bal. They will be governed under SSB Act and Rules applicable to other members of the Force and other Rules applicable from time to time. On appointment they shall be entitled for the pension benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government Services w.e.f. 01-01-2004. The last date of receipt of application is 20-07-2011. However the closing date for receipt of applications (by post) for the candidates from North-Eastern States, Sikkim, Pangi Sub- Division of Chamba, Lahaul & Spiti and Kinnaur Districts of Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh Division, Kashmir of J&K State and the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the Lakshadweep will be 27-07-2011.

ASI (Physiotherapist) : 03 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800/-
ASI (Operation Theatre Technician) : 03 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800/-
ASI (Dental Technician) : 03 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800/-
Head Constable (Steward) : 03 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2400/-
Constable Tradesmen (Lab Assistant) : 36 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 +GP Rs. 2000
Constable Tradesmen (Nursing Orderly) : 120 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 +GP Rs. 2000
Constable Tradesmen (Ayah) Female : 09 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 +GP Rs. 2000
Constable Tradesmen (Masalchi) : 06 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 +GP Rs. 2000
Constable Tradesmen (Table Boy) Male : 03 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 +GP Rs. 2000

Note :
1. 10% vacancies are reserved for Ex-Serviceman where applicable. If suitable Ex- Serviceman do not turn up, the same will be filled up by direct open market candidates.
2. The recruitment is open to all Indian citizens only. Recruitment to the post of SI(Staff Nurse) and Constable(Ayah) is open for Female only whereas the post of Constable(Table Boy) is open only for male candidates.
3. The vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the position at the time of final selection without any notice.
4. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.
5. Selected candidates are liable to be posted any where in the country according to transfer policy of the Force.
6. The recruitment will be conducted on All India basis.

The crucial date for determining the age limit will be the closing date of receipt of application from the candidates i.e. 20-07-2011. The candidate must fulfill all the conditions of recruitment on or before 20-07-2011

APPLICATION FEE :- FOR ALL POSTS
Application fee will be Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only)-Non-refundable for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories. They shall attach Bank Draft or Indian Postal Order (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of Authority mentioned at para-9 at column No. 4 & 5 below. No application fee will charged from SC/ST, Ex- Servicemen and female candidates.

HOW TO APPLY :
The envelope containing the application should be super scribed in block letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ( Name of the post) ……………… ……………………………… POST CODE NO”…………… along with the Bank draft/IPO of Rs.50/- as application fee, attested copies of testimonials and admit card duly filled in. Two self addressed envelops with postage stamp -worth Rs.6/- (Six) each should also be attached with the application form. The application received after the last date will not be entertained and summarily rejected. No correspondence will be entertained on this account.
