Hamdard University is setting up Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) in its campus of Jamia Hamdard at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi-110062.

R E C R U I T M E N T

University invites the Applications on the prescribed form to be downloaded from the University Website, for the appointment of faculty and others positions of HIMSAR in the following specializations as per MCI guidelines.
Applications along with complete bio-data with necessary academic/experience certificates/testimonials and names of two referees with full address are invited for the under mentioned posts which must reach the office of the Advisor Academics, HIMSAR office, Room No-3, Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi-110062
Dean/Principal - 1 post
Should possess the recognized postgraduate medical qualification and other academic qualification from a recognized institution with a minimum of ten years’ teaching experience as Professor/Associate Professor/Reader in a medical college/Inst. Out of which at least five years should be as Professor in a department. Preference for these appointments may be given to the Heads of the Departments.
Pay Scale: 37,400-67,000 + AGP: 10,000 + NPA (As per 6th Pay commission).


Medical Superintendent/Director of teaching Hospital - 1 post
Should possess a recognized post graduate medical qualification from a recognized Institution with 10 yrs. Administrative experience.

Pay Scale: 37400-67000 + AGP: 9,500 + NPA (As per 6th Pay commission).

Faculty Positions: 72

Posts of Junior Residents/ Senior Residents:-
Ø Junior Residents: –
No. of Posts: 47 (Tenured Post for not more than 12 months.)
Qualification: - M.B.B.S.
Pay scale: 15600 - 39100 + (Grade Pay Rs. 5400) per month plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.


Ø Senior Residents
No. of Posts: 27 (Tenured Post for not more than 36 months.)

Qualifications: MD/MS/DNB in concerned subjects
Pay scale: Rs. 15600 -39100+ (Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-) per month plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.

1. Laboratory Technicians: (Senior scale)
Number of posts: 14
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ Grade PayRs.4200 (PB2)
Qualification: BMLT/B.Sc. MLT or 10+2 from recognized Board/University with DMLT of 2 years duration with at least 1 year experience in Medical Laboratories/ Diagnostic Laboratories including Blood Bank in Medical Colleges & Hospital/Institute.
Experience: At least 2 years experience after BMLT in Medical Laboratories/ Diagnostic Laboratories including Blood Bank in Medical Colleges & Hospital/Institute or At least 3 years experience after DMLT in Medical Laboratories/ Diagnostic Laboratories including Blood Bank in Medical Colleges & Hospital/Institute.



2. Lab Technicians: (Junior scale)
No. of Posts: 15
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ Grade PayRs.2800 (PB1)
Qualification: BMLT/B.Sc. MLT or 10+2 from recognized Board/University with DMLT of 2 years duration or 10+2 vocational course from a recognized board/university with at least 1 year experience in Medical Laboratories/ Diagnostic Laboratories including Blood Bank in Medical Colleges & Hospital/Institute.
3. Operation Theatre Technician: (Senior scale)
Number of posts: 03
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ Grade PayRs.4200 (PB2)
Qualification: Bachelor in operation theatre techniques or 10+2 from recognized Board/University with Diploma in operation theatre Techniques of 2 years duration with at least 1 years experience in a renound Hospital/Institute.
Experience: At least 2 years experience after Bachelor course in Hospital/Institute or At least 3 years experience after Diploma course in Hospital/Institute.
4. Operation Theatre Technician: (Junior scale)
Number of posts: 03
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ Grade PayRs.2800 (PB1)
Qualification: Bachelor in Operation Theatre Techniques or 10+2 from recognized Board/University with Diploma in operation theatre Techniques of 2 years duration with at least 1 years experience in a renound Hospital/Institute in concerned field.
5. Audiometrist/Speech Therapist – 1 (Senior scale)
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+ Grade Pay Rs.4200 (PB2)
Qualification: Bachelor in Audiometry/ Speech therapy or 10+2 from recognized Board/University with Diploma in Audiometry/ Speech therapy of 2 years duration with at least 1 years experience in a renound Hospital/Institute.
Experience: At least 2 years experience after Bachelor course in Hospital/Institute or At least 3 years experience after Diploma course in Hospital/Institute in concerned field.
6. Audiometrist/Junior Speech Therapist –2 (Junior scale)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ Grade PayRs.2800 (PB1)

Qualification: BSc-Radiography/BMRDIT/10+2 from recognized Board/University with Diploma in Radiography/DMRD/Diploma in X-Ray and ECG- 2 years course with at least 1 years experience in a renound Hospital/Institute in concerned field.
Experience: At least 2 years experience after Bachelor course in Hospital/Institute or At least 3 years experience after Diploma course in Hospital/Institute in concerned field.
8. Radio grapher – 5 (Junior scale)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ Grade PayRs.2800 (PB1)
Qualification: BSc-Radiography/BMRDIT/10+2 from recognized Board/University with Diploma in Radiography/DMRD/Diploma in X-Ray and ECG- 2 years course with at least 1 years experience in a renound Hospital/Institute in concerned field.
9. Dental Technician: (Senior scale)
Number of posts: 1
Pay scale: 9300-34800+Grade Pay: 4200 (PB2)
Qualification: 10+2 from recognized board/university with Diploma in Dental Hygiene/Diploma in Dental Mechanics.
Experience: 3 years in Dental Department of recognized Institutes/Colleges/Hospitals/ Clinics.
10. Dental Technician: (Junior scale)
Number of posts: 1
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200+ Grade PayRs.2800 (PB1)
Qualification: 10+2 from recognized board/university with Diploma in Dental Hygiene/Diploma in Dental Mechanics.


11. Optometrist: (Senior scale)
Number of post: 1
Pay scale: 9300-34800+Grade Pay: 4200 (PB2)
Qualification: B.Sc.(Optometry)/ B.Sc. Ophthalmology/10+2 from recognized board/university with Diploma in Optometry/ Ophthalmology of at least 2 years duration.
Experience: At least 3 years in Ophthalmology Department/Ophthalmic Institutes/ Hospitals/Clinic.
