NOTIFICATION

Sub:-Employment Notification for Recruitment against Sports Quota for 2011-12.

Closing date :- 26.08.2011 18.00 Hrs

Applications are invited from eligible sportspersons in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) for filling up of 12 (Twelve) vacancies in Group C and 10 (Ten) vacancies in Group-D categories in the Pay Band at Grade Pay indicated below against sports quota over South East Central Railway. The vacancies are provisional and are liable to change.

2. Age limit :-18 to 25 years as on 01-07- 2011 (No relaxation in lower or upper age limits for any category of candidates)

3. Educational Qualification :-
(i) For Group C :- For those applying for posts having Grade Pay ` 1900 it is 10th passed. Candidates applying for posts having Grade Pay 2800 should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized University/Institutions.
(ii) For Group D :- 8th passed (Outstanding sportspersons). Candidates applying for posts in Grade Pay 1800 and who have qualification of 8th passed will be appointed in (-)1S Pay Band. Such Sportspersons will be given the regular pay band PB-1 of ` 5200-20200 along with Grade Pay of ` 1800 only on acquiring the minimum educational qualification under the recruitment rules or passing the requisite training test.

Fees :- ` 40 for post in Grade Pay ` 1800 or 1900 or 2000 and ` 60 for those in Grade Pay ` 2800. Fee should be paid in the form of crossed Bank Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South East Central Railway payable at Bilaspur. The fee is not refundable under any circumstance. Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women, Minority and Economically backward classes (Family income is less than ` 50,000 per annum) are exempted from the payment of fees.

How to apply :
(i) Application should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting in either English or in Hindi.
(ii) Application should be on a good quality A-4 size bond paper (80 GSM) using one side only. News paper cuttings should not be used an application.
(iii)A self attested pass port size photograph should be pasted in the space provided for the application.
(iv)The candidate should also attach two recent pass port size photographs (same as the affixed in the application form) and it should be clipped along with the application form.
(v) The candidate should also submit two self addressed unstamped envelopes (size 23 cms x 10 cms.) along with his application.
(vi) Serving employee should apply through proper channel.
