Applications are invited from eligible Male Indian citizens of India for filling up the following Group ‘C’ Combatised, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) posts in tradesmen cadres in SSB for the year 2011 in the pay scale of Rs.5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs.2,000 Per month plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Government employees including ration allowance, medical assistance, free uniform, free accommodation, free leave passes etc. The posts have all India transfer liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and abroad according to the transfer policy of the Force. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by SSB Act and Rules. Last date of receipt of application is 15-06-2011 for all states except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which the last date is 22-06-2011.

How to apply :
Three latest passport size photographs attested (one photo should be pasted on the application form, one on admit card and the last one should be attached with the application form).
IPO / Bank Draft for Rs. 50/- (for General and OBC Candidates only) Non refundable.
One self addressed envelopes of 4”X9” size with Rs.6/- postage stamps duly affixed on each envelope.
Envelope containing Application must be super-scribed in bold letters “Application for the Post of “Constable (mention name of trade) and Post Code ( ).

Eligible candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respect and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘I’ and Annexure ‘II’, either type written or neatly hand written on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application form and on admit card (duly attested by Gazetted Officer) along with application fee and the enclosures to the authority mentioned above.
