CRPF Recruitment 2010 : Constable GD General Duty
CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE
RECRUITMENT OF CONSTABLE/GENERAL DUTY (MALE/FEMALE) IN CRPF-2010

1. Applications are invited from the MALE / FEMALE Indian citizens ordinarily
resident in the States / UTs of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu,
Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar islands, Lakshdweep and Pondichery to
fill up the vacancies in the rank of Constable/GD (Male/Female) in Central
Reserve Police Force.
2. Pay Scale The post carries pay scale of Pay Band – 1 i.e. Rs.
5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2000/-.
3. Other Allowances As admissible to Central Government Employees
from time to time under the rules.
4. Place of duty Any where within as well as outside the Territory of
India.
5. State / category wise vacancies released / notified, are as under:-
(i) FOR POST OF CONSTABLE/GD(MALE)

(iii) In addition to the above, following vacancies are also released /
notified for filling up from Naxal/Militancy Affected Districts:-

Note: -
i) Vacancies as shown above may change on administrative grounds,
without assignment of any reason.
ii) Unfilled vacancies reserved for Ex.Servicemen will be filled up from
the candidates within the same categories.
6. New contributory pension scheme for Central Govt. employees, which has
come into effect from 01/01/2004, will be applicable to all selected
candidates.
7. Ex-servicemen, being trained soldiers will require to appear for, only written
test and medical fitness test. Relaxation in prescribed physical standards
and education is admissible as per Govt. orders. Relaxation in upper age
limit to the extent of military service plus three years is applicable. However,
break in army service and re-employment should not exceed 24 months. No
PET is required for Ex-servicemen.
8. Ward(s) of serving CRPF personnel may also apply. They will be required to
compete with other candidates in their respective categories. Wards of
serving CRPF personnel may apply either from their Home State or from the
State in which his/her father/mother is posted/deployed at the time of
recruitment.
9. Eligibility Conditions
a) Age Between 18 to 23 years as on 1st August
2010.
Relaxation:-
Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST and upto 3 years for OBC
category candidates. In addition,
i) 5 years relaxation is applicable in upper age to the residents of
Jammu & Kashmir State. (In this connection para – 2 (ii) (b) of
information booklet refers)
ii) 5 years age relaxation is applicable to the Children and dependent
family members of those killed in the riots of 1984 and in the
communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat. (In this connection para – 2 (ii) (c)
of information booklet refers)
b) Educational qualification
Matriculation or 10th class passed from
recognized board or university.
c) Physical Standards
Height Male - 170 CMs.
Female - 157 CMs.
Chest (only for male) Unexpanded - 80 CMs.
Expanded - 85 CMs.
(Minimum expansion 5 CMs is required)
Relaxation:-
Relaxation in physical standard (height and chest) is permissible to the
candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras,
Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland,
Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal
Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh region of J&K and candidates belonging
to Scheduled Tribe. (In this connection para – 2 (iv) (b), (c) & (d) of
information booklet refers).
Weight Proportionate to height and age as per
medical standard.
d) Medical Standards
In accordance with para – 2 (v) (a) & (b) of information booklet.
10 Selection Process
All eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be
issued admit card/call letter to appear in the recruitment process. The list of
such eligible candidates will also be displayed at Application Receiving
Centres. Candidates will have to undergo the following process of
recruitment:-
a) Height Test.
b) Race.
c) Identity check.
d) Checking of Testimonials/documents.
e) Physical Standard Test.
f) Physical Efficiency Test.
g) Written Examination.
h) Medical Examination.

11. Willing candidates can apply on OMR application form, which can be
purchased along with the detailed information booklet from the following
Post Offices w.e.f. 26/07/2010 to 14/08/2010 against the payment of Rs.
40/- (Rupees Forty) only as postal handling charges:-
In addition, General/OBC category candidates are also required to deposit
Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty) only as application fee through e-payment at the
nearest post office where e-payment facilities are available and mention epayment
receipt number in prescribed column of OMR Application Form
failing which application will be rejected. IN ADDITION TO THE
APPLICATION FEE, E-PAYMENT CHARGES AS APPLICABLE WILL
HAVE TO BE PAID TO THE POSTAL DEPARTMENT BY OBC &
GENERAL CATEGORY CANDIDATES. Candidates belonging to SC, ST
and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee. Each
such OMR application form can be used only once. In case of any
difficulty in obtaining OMR application form from the Post offices, the
candidates should immediately contact the concerned post master.
Application duly completed in all respect be sent to the address of
Application Receiving Centre identified for their respective State in the
prescribed envelop so as to reach there on or before close of the working
hours of 25/08/2010 repeat 25/08/2010 either by hand or by
speed/registered post. The application received after the last/due date
and incomplete application in any respect will not be entertained and shall
be summarily rejected:-

12. No documents / testimonials / caste certificates etc are to be sent with the
application form. However, when the candidate reports at the venue on the
date and time for recruitment process, he/she should bring the documents
in original alongwith one attested photocopy of the same as mentioned in
para – 8 (iii) of information booklet.
13. Candidates belonging to the State of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka,
Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar islands, Lakshdweep and
Pondichery will only be considered for recruitment in their respective
State/UT on production of valid “Domicile Certificate” issued by the
competent authority so authorized by the concerned State/UT to prove their
domiciliary status.

15 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
i) On appointment, candidates shall be governed by the CRPF Act, 1949 and
CRPF Rules, 1955 as well as all such Govt. instructions/rules as applicable.
ii) Govt. shall not be responsible for damage/injury to the individual, if any,
sustained during the PET.
iii) The candidates shall have to bring with them writing material (blue /
black ball point pen and clip board etc) for Written Test.
iv) Candidates should come duly prepared to stay at their own arrangements
for the purpose of recruitment.
v) Candidates will have to appear for selection test at their own expenses
vi) All eligible candidates will be duly informed about the date and venue of
the recruitment through speed/registered post.
vii) The candidate finally selected for appointment shall be subjected to chest
x-ray, pathological and other required test.
viii) The candidates on appointment will have to undergo prescribed basic
training at Training Institutions of CRPF.
ix) After selection/appointment, if any candidate is found ineligible or guilty
of suppressing facts, on any score, his/her services will be terminated
without assigning any reason thereof.
x) Canvassing in any form or adoption of unfair means or bringing outside
influence will disqualify the candidate.
xi) The result of Written Test will be posted on CRPF website as well as
displayed on notice boards of recruitment centres.
xii) Ex CRPF personnel will be treated as fresh entrants and they will not be
allowed any relaxation applicable to Ex-servicemen.

I have sent crpf head constble(min.) application form to BBSR group center.But,
I have not received my head constble(min) admit card.So,Sir please give my admit card immediately.My mobile no is().Thank you.
