1. Explain the technical delivery condition & Quality requirement of component standard like (IS,BIS,EN,DIN, ASTM,CCH,ASME, AWS D 1.1 ) to the all department.
2. Closely worked with welding inspector for controlling welding parameters during repair or fabrication welding of Tosiba,Japan Humbolt,Outotec Australia new grade castings.
3. Doing NDT like UT, MPI & PT Test on the casting as per procedure/standard.
4. Checking & getting final & proof dimension as per ANSI & SI standard.
5. Doing DT like Tensile & Charpy Impact test, band test on casting sample as per standard like (IS, ASTM etc.)
6. Inspection of product to ensure conformity as per approved drawing, partlist,QAP & relevant technical specification.
7. Preparation of QAP as per contract, drawing, purchase order and client relevant technical specification.
8. Issue of NCR in case of any deviation from drawing and part list same to be got approved design deptt.
9. Explain the heat treatment like process (normalizing, tempering, and stress reliving) of the casting as per material requirement.
10. Conducting Radiographic testing according to DIN &ASME standard and following corresponding QAP.
11. Preparing the WPS/PQR/WPQ Documents’ according to ASME Sec-XI, EN-287 & SEW110 for the welder qualification.
12. Preparing process route charts for the quality department giving exact client requirement details to the production Department.
13. Assist third party (LLYODS, TPL, SGS and BVQI etc.) and client inspections.
14. Circulation of soft copies of Inspection report to all concerns and filing in quality folder.
15. Maintaining the documents as per quality audit ISO : 9001 2000 requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Quality assurance exclusively of steel plant since July 2007 to April 2009. Quality Assurance has been carried out involving in following basic steps :-
1. Plan of suitable NDE method and incorporate in NDE plan.
2. Handling Inspection Stages like Preparation of NDE plan, Weld Map, and Liaison with Third party inspection
Agency related to NDE clearances / Acceptance.
3. Review all the drawings and verify the stages of NDE with the QAP.
4. Plan, Perform and Report the Non Destructive Examination (NDE) as per Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). 5. Carry out all final stage inspection like NDE during stage inspection, final inspection before PWHT, NDE
After PWHT etc. as per QAP.
6. Demonstration of NDE procedures to TPI.
7. Maintenance and preparation of Daily NDE Defect sheet & Daily NDE status for each project.
8. Planning control &Data record on Radiation safety.
9. Review and take decision of all problematic areas like RT repair, UT Repair.
10. Plan for cost reduction of overall NDE.
11. Compile all NDE documents, Results for final documentation.
