Microsoft Word - Judicial Service.doc Applications are invited in the prescribed Form from the bonafide citizens of India for selection of candidates for the below mentioned posts under the Government of Tripura:-
Item No – 01 = 9 (nine) pmt. posts (UR=02, SC=02 & ST=05) of Tripura Judicial Service Grade-III, Group-B Gazetted under Law Department in the Scale of Rs.9,000-14,550/- (pre-revised) plus admissible allowances. As per Rule-8 of the TJS Rules, 2003 posts reserved for ST and SC candidates will be filled by UR candidates if suitable reserved category candidate are not found.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS: (i) Citizen of India, (ii) Degree in Law of a recognized university.
Age: Upto 38 years for ST/SC candidates and 35 years for others as on 16.08.2010.
DISQUALIFICATION FOR APPOINTMENT:- No person shall be eligible for appointment to the service- (i) If he/she is dismissed from service by any High Court, Government or Statutory or local Authority. (ii) If he/she has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitute or who is or has been permanently debarred or disqualified by the High Court or the UPSC or any State Public Service Commission from appearing in any Examination or selection conducted by it. (iii) If he/she directly or indirectly tries to influence or influences the recruiting authority by any means for his/her candidature. (iv) If he/she has more than one spouse living.

(i) The selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of cumulative grade value obtained in the written and viva-voce examination.
(ii) All candidates who obtained sixty percent (60%) or more or corresponding grade in the written examination shall be eligible for viva-voce examination. Provided that Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes candidates who obtain fifty percent (50%) or more or corresponding grade in the written examination shall be eligible for viva-voce examination.
Item No – 02 = 1(one)post of Librarian (UR),Group-C Non-Gazetted in the LR’s Estt.under the Law Department carrying the scale of pay of Rs. 5310-24,000/- (PB-2, Grade Pay Rs.2100/-)plus admissible allowances.
Educational Qualifications:- Essential: (i) Graduate from a recognized University.(ii) Degree or Diploma in Library Science.
Desirable :-(i) Knowledge in Bengali and Kokborok. (iii) Experience in Library works related to Law.

AGE :-18 to 37 years as on 14.08.2010. Upper age limit is relax able by 5(five) years in case of ST, SC, PH candidates and Government Servants. Provided that the Govt. Servants belonging to ST, SC & PH categories shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 years available to them.

Age limit for direct recruitment:-37(thirty seven) years. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Govt. employees. The Government Employees belongs to SC, ST & PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the General relaxation of 5 years available to them.
Other Important information related with all above items:
(1) The number of posts to be filled up is subject to increase or decrease following requirement of the Department.

(2) The last date of receiving application is 14.08.2010. The application(s) received after the closing date will not be entertained.

(3) Prescribed Form availability: The 4(four) pages printed application Form will be available from any of the total 111 nos. of Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank located at different places of Urban and Rural areas in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment F ee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch / Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.
For the candidates outside of the State:To the Account No.31110220136 of the State Bank of India (Core banking branches).The Bankers charge/commission if required to be paid in addition. The said demand draft is to be enclosed with the filled up application form with record in the specified Box on the 1st page of the Form.

(4) Rate of Recruitment Fees :- Group – Group – B Posts :- Rs.150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs.75/- (Rupees Seventy Five) only for ST/SC/BPL Cardholders/ Physically Handicapped candidates.
Group – C Posts :- Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred} only for General Candidates and Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL Cardholders / Physically Handicapped candidates.
(5) SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.

(6) The applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) for the respective post(s) on the closing date for submission of application as mentioned in the advertisement.

(7) The application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the copies of self attested certificates as noted in the application form is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM (16.08.2010) of the closing date & to obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number.
The candidates who are to sent the application by post, also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No.,Item No.and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidates after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidates. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.

(8) The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be the final.

(9). Date, time and venue of Screening Test / Interview of the eligible qualified candidates will be notified in due course.
