Qualification and Experience :
Head Constable (Motor Mechanic)
(a) Matric or equivalent
(b) Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized Institution/ITI with 3 years practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or 3 years Diploma in Automobile Engineering

Constable (Motor Mechanic)
(a) Matric or equivalent (8th class pass for the ST candidates of Tirap and Changlang Districts of Arunachal Pradesh only)
(b) Certificate from a recognized Institution/ITI in Automobile Engineering/ Motor Mechanic Trade

Constable (Driver)
(a) Matric or equivalent (8th class pass for the ST candidates of Tirap and Changlang Districts of Arunachal Pradesh only)
(b) Valid driving License for Light/Medium/Heavy vehicles with minimum 2 years experience in driving.
