ADVERTISEMENT (2) FOR RECRUITMENT OF MALE CONSTABLES IN PUNJAB POLICE

Applications are invited from Male candidates for filling up 1533 posts for Armed Police Cadre in the rank of constable in Punjab Police

SCALE OF PAY :
Pay Band- 2 = Pay Band 5910-20200+Grade pay Rs. 1900.
The selected candidates will be included under ‘Defined Contributory Pension Scheme’ of the State Govt.
Qualification : 10+2 oe equivalent. It is compulsory for each candidate to have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as compulsory/ optional subject. For Ex-serviceman , the minimum qualification is Matric.

Height : 5'7", Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/2010

Place Of Duty : Selected candidate(s) can be deployed anywhere in Punjab, India and even abroad.

Selection Process :
Selection shall be made by District Recruitment Boards.
Selection process would comprise of three phases.
A) Physical Measurement
B) ) Physical Efficiency
C) Interview.

How to Apply :
Application in the prescribed format completely filled in all aspects along with all documents/ certificates and a DD of Rs.100/- in favour of Chairman, District Recruitment Board .......... (Name of the district where candidate applies) for Male Constable 2010 payable at .......... (District name) should reach the Chairman, Central District Recruitment Boards

LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM :
The application form completely filled in all aspects along with all the necessary documents/certificate must reach the “Chairman, District Recruitment Boards from 01.03.2010 to 15.03.2010 (from 9.00 A.M to 5.00 P.M) all working days including Saturdays. The application received after 5.00 P.M on15.03.2010 shall not be considered
