ADVERTISEMENT (3) FOR RECRUITMENT OF FEMALE CONSTABLES IN PUNJAB POLICE
Applications are invited from female candidates for filling up 97 posts for District Police Cadre in the rank of constable in this department.

SCALE OF PAY :
Pay Band- 2 = Pay Band 5910-20200+Grade pay Rs. 1900.
The selected candidates will be included under ‘Defined Contributory Pension Scheme’ of the State Govt.
Qualification : 10+2 oe equivalent. It is compulsory for each candidate to have passed matriculation exam with Punjabi as compulsory/ optional subject. For Ex-serviceman , the minimum qualification is Matric.

Place Of Duty : Selected candidate(s) can be deployed anywhere in Punjab, India and even abroad.

Medical Standards:
The candidate shall, before enrolment, be medically examined and certified physically fit for service by the Civil Surgeon in accordance with provision contained in Rule 10.64 of Punjab Police Rules, 1934.

Selection Process :
Selection shall be made by Central Recruitment Boards, PAP Campus, Jalandhar Cantt. Selection process would comprise of three phases
A) Physical Measurement
B) ) Physical Efficiency
C) Interview.

How to Apply :
Application Form can be obtained by paying Rs. 100/- cash on all working days during office hours (9.00 a.m. to 1.30 P.M and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.) from the following offices:-
i) Office of the Senior Superintendents of Police in all district of Punjab.
ii) Commandant, 13th Bn., PAP, Chandigarh (Back side Civil Secretariat, Punjab, Chandigarh). Candidates may also apply on forms downloaded from the official website of the Punjab Police www.punjabpoliceindia.org.
Completed application forms shall be accompanied by an Account Payee, Demand Draft amounting to Rs. 100/- in favour of “Chairman, Central Recruitment Board, PAP Campus, Jalandhar Cantt, for Female Constables 2010” payable at Jalandhar. The candidate must write her Name and Address at the back side of the Bank Draft in capital letters.

LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM :
The application form completely filled in all aspects alongwith all the necessary documents/certificate must reach the Chairman, Central Recruitment Board, PAP Campus, Jalandhar Cantt from 01.3.2010 to 15.03.2010 (from 9.00 P.M to 5.00 P.M) on all working days including Saturdays. The application received after 5.00 P.M on 15.03.2010 shall not be considered
