GENERAL INFORMATION/ CONDITIONS/ INSTRUCTION

1. Candidates applying for more than one Department / Post are required to use separate application forms.
2. Candidates need not attach photocopy of certificates with the application form. They are advised to take full precaution while filling application form as any wrong information found at the time of interview if called, their candidature will be disqualified.
3. Reservation as per Govt. of India norms are applicable. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories should bring certificates at the time of interview, obtained from Revenue Authorities not below the rank of Tehsildar or from a First Class Magistrate of the place of origin of the candidates clearly authenticating the category to which they belong. They must also clearly indicate the category to which they belong in the application form.
4. Reservation for Physically Handicapped Category exists as per Govt. of India norms. Positions from this category will be filled up depending on the availability of suitable
candidates. Candidates may indicate this on their application forms and bring necessary
certificates from competent authority as applicable to Central Government Service norms, at the time of interview.
5. A relaxation of 5% will be provided at the graduate and master’s level for the SC/ST/Differently-abled (Physically and visually handicapped) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions. Rounding off of marks it to 55% or 50% as the case may be through grace mark procedure etc., by universities is not permissible for claiming relaxation.
6. Besides the basic pay in the applicable scale of pay of the respective posts, admissible allowances like DA, HRA etc. in accordance with central Government/Institute Rules in force from time to time are payable.
7. For all positions, unless explicitly mentioned, experience means relevant work experience in teaching or research or industry after undergraduate studies.
8. Experienced and meritorious candidates may be granted higher scale increments on recommendation of Selection Committee.
9. Mere fulfillment of the required qualifications and experience etc., does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview/selection. The institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any of the positions.
10. The number of posts may vary as per the requirement of the institute at the time of recruitment.
11. The institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience, higher than those prescribed in this advertisement, and as per merit decided by scrutiny committee
12. All Degrees should be from recognized Universities/ Institutes.
13. Candidates in Govt. service should send their applications through proper channel. The original application if routed through proper channel and is likely to be delayed, a photocopy of the application should be sent in advance before the prescribed last date.
All candidates are required to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.
14. All candidates will have to appear for interview at their own cost, if called, before a Staff Selection Committee on the date and place which will be separately notified to the candidates on institute website in addition to postal communication. All eligible SC/ST candidates will be paid TA as per GOI norms for attending the interview.
15. Selected candidates will have to undergo a medical fitness test prior to joining. They should be prepared to join duty within the specified time limit. Selected candidates will be on probation initially for two years, which may be extended on unsatisfactory performances.
16. Bring all relevant certificates, testimonial and No objection certificate from the employer at the time of interview (Original and one set attested copy), if called.
17. Applicants has to apply in prescribed format available at Institute website on or before 20th December 2009. Incomplete applications and will lack of supporting documents are likely to be rejected.

18. Application in prescribed format along with D.D. (Demand Draft) of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of Director – MANIT, Bhopal, payable at Bhopal must reach to office of the Registrar, MANIT, Bhopal – 462051 latest by 20th December 2009. ST/SC candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
