The Senior Manager (Content) will be responsible for meeting quarterly content/newsletter goals and the work responsibility includes identifying potential content vendors and expert writers who would develop and deliver quality content on topics of interest to EE and develop a unique value proposition for EE which can be of a great benefit to the network of Experts, Partners and our Clients. Email: [email]career@engageexperts.com[/email] [b][u]Desired Candidate Profile[/u][/b] Detailed responsibilities for the position are as follows. - Develop a 1 year and 3 year strategic plan for content development/aggregation which includes quarterly development goals - Responsible for meeting quarterly content related goals - Identify potential content vendors and expert writers and develop a value proposition for EE to market EE services to clients, experts and partners. - Collecting, analyzing, verifying, and presenting business news & events on the EE portal. - Hands-on editing, proofing and presenting comprehensive content from various sources. - Research & networking in the industries to provide coverage on special events, i.e., industry happenings, business events, industry awards & recognitions etc. - Out-of-the-box thinking to generate new story ideas and new design themes to constantly enhance the EE value proposition. - Identifying emerging trends, new product launches and improved content technologies, which could impact the current business. - Engage in active newsletter management – including making new innovative strategies on content type and flavor. - Build relationships with vendors and writers for greater perspective on niche topics. - Travel within India as needed to meet with potential vendors and writers. - Networks with other media organizations and build visibility for EE Key Qualifications: - 3 years of experience as a content manager in entertainment, media or publishing industry. - Having experience working with IT firms and having knowledge on portal content mechanisms. - Business background (either an MBA or graduation in Commerce or Economics) - Demonstrated understanding of the business environment in India and USA. - Articulate, well spoken with demonstrated public relations, communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience and understanding in working with small and growing businesses a plus - Some experience outside India e.g. US/Europe preferred Desired Technology Comfort: - Web Graphic tools and experience in podcast, webcast related technologies. - Standard Web Page Editors to give embedded links for stories, pictures, columns etc. - HTML, SEO & Email marketing techniques.
