User Centered Design (UCD) team at Symantec India (formerly VERITAS Software India) are looking for creative UI Designer to work with us in Chennai. The applicants should have good working knowledge of user study, concept modeling, UI & interaction design. Excellent communication skills are a must for collaborating with product managers, developers, user researchers and other designers.

 Years of Experience : 8 - 10 yrs

[/B]We are looking for someone who can understand users and take up tough design challenges. Experience level - 8 to 10 years
 
[B]Job Responsibilities:
[/B]-Task analysis, concept modeling
-Information and interaction design, UI design
-Conceptualize and present design ideas
-Knowledge of tools and methods to execute the ideas
-Hands on experience on prototyping tools like Photoshop, Visio, Flash is great to have
-Understand and apply UCD principles
-Collaborate with product managers, developers, user researchers and other UCD professionals
 
[B]Education:
[/B]Post graduate in industrial or product design from institutes like IIT-Mumbai, Delhi or National Institute of Design. Design Graduates with excellent product design skills can also apply.
