- Working on utility systems like hydraulic, pneumatic, roll coolant, grease, lubrication which are major part of the PROJECT.
- Preparation of technical specification of utility system aligning with the contract.
- Preparing comparison of utility systems, technical discussion with vendor, assist purchase in finalization of the order.
- Checking and approval of circuit, P & ID, junction box drawings of utility system analytically and functionally.
- Follow up with suppliers for bought out items. Co-ordination with vendors for manufacturing of items and dispatches. This includes confirming supplier’s capacity and market standing, vendor development, preparing comparative statements and summary reports, negotiating orders, getting the design approval of GA drawings, paying regular visits to vendors to assess the work progress and availability of the necessary inputs and raw material at their end.
- Co-Ordination with various in-house departments (Design, Purchase, Production Planning & Control, Accounts, Exim, Stores); Interface with Workshop for assembly related issues particularly with hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic motors and grease components.
- Co-Ordination with site for issue related with utility systems.
- Working as SAP member for MM module.

At the early stage I was put in a projects of tandem cold rolling mill, I along with my team were involved in both Pickling Line and Tandem cold rolling mill and at the initial stage I was looking after the material required for hydraulic pipe line for both the lines, then I was given the responsibility of planning, erection, piping and commissioning of roll coolants system require for Tandem Cold Rolling Mill.
