Ensure the safety procedures and instructions are complied with. Monitor and advice onsite activities to be performed safely. Responsible for the conduct of HSE Audits and inspections of all work place facilities and activities, make performance report, recommend remedial measures and follow up actions.
Conduct incident/near miss investigations and review follow up actions.
Ensure periodical inspection / maintenance of various HSE fire fighting equipments H2S/Gas monitors etc. Coordinate and participate in identifying of evaluating HSE hazards/risks and recommend measures to reduce them.
Conduct safety exercises, musters and drills.
Organize, undertake and participate in safety lectures and safety meetings.
Establish safety training on various health and safety topics to company staff, client and other contractors
