[B][U]Ad-hoc Library Helper Recruitment [/U][/B]:
Institute proposes to conduct a walk-in Interview for the selection of Ad-hoc Library Helper in the NITC Central Library. This engagement is purely on ad-hoc basis and will carry a consolidated monthly remuneration as detailed below.

Interested candidates with specified qualifications may report for the interview at their own expenses in the office of the National Institute of Technology Calicut as per the schedule given below with all certificates and portfolios in original and a set of photo copy. No TA/DA will be paid.

Due Consideration will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates on production of valid original certificate from the competent authority for obtaining reservation.

Candidates should report for certificate verification half an hour before the time of interview. Candidates reporting after 10.00 A M on the day of interview will not be considered.

Candidates without original certificates showing experience, mark list and certificates in respect of qualification and age will not be allowed to attend the interview. The candidates should bring along with them the completed Registration form provided in the website, without which they will not permitted to attend the interview.

National Institute of Technology Calicut is a Technical Institution of national importance set up by an Act of parliament(Act 29 of 2007) namely, the National Institute of technology Act 2007, which received the assent of the President of India on 5th June,2007.

The provision of the Act have come into force with effect from 15th August,2007 as per Notification S.O.1384(E) dated 9th August, 2007 of the MHRD(Dept. of Higher Education),New Delhi. As per the provision of the said Act, this Institution runs on non profitable basis.
