[B][U]Coaches, Gym Instructor Recruitment [/U][/B]:
Application Inviting for Engagement of Contract Basis Coaches in A&N State Sports Council.

The A&N State Sports Council invites application from eligible candidates for coaches purely on contract basis for initial period of 11 months. The coaches selected for the A&N State Sports Council would be posted anywhere in A&N Islands. The coaches will be selected for the following disciplines:

1. Volleyball - 01 No.
2. Badminton - 01 No.
3. Gym Instructor - 03Nos.(P/Blair-Female,C/Nicobar-Male &Diglipur –Male )
4. Lawn Tennis - 01 No.
5. Table Tennis - 01 No.
6. Basketball - 01 No.
7. Football - 01 No.
8. Athletic - 01 No.
9. Cricket - 01 No.
10. Boxing - 01 No.
11. Hockey - 01 No.
12. Swimming - 02 Nos. (1 Male &1 Female)

[B][U]Coaches  [/U][/B]: Contract Basis
 [B][U]Number of Coaches [/U][/B]: 15 (Subject to variation depending on work load)
 [B][U]Remuneration [/U][/B]: Rs. 32,000/- per month (Consolidation remuneration)
 [B][U]Age  [/U][/B]: For Male 18-45 Yrs. For Female 18-40 Yrs.
[B][U]Educational & Professional qualification [/U][/B]:
Essential- Diploma in Coaching from SAI/MS Coaching/NIS Patiala or any other recognized India/Foreign University.
Or
Participation in Olympic/Asian Games/ World Championship in the discipline concerned with a certificate in coaching.
Or
Secondary school examination from recognized board or equivalent with certificate in coaching alongwith participation in National Level Championship and Securing1st ,2nd or 3rd position in the discipline concerned.
Or
Secondary School Examination from recognized board or equivalent with participation in the International Level recognized sports championship.

[B][U]Educational & Professional qualification [/U][/B]:
[B][U]Essential[/U][/B]: Gym Instructor
i) Passed secondary School examination or equivalent
ii) Diploma in Body Building and Health Nutrition from recognized Institution of India

[B][U]Duties and responsibility [/U][/B]:
i. To impart training to the sports persons of age groups.
ii. To conduct talent search programme.
iii. To maintain all related records relating to selection and imparting training to sportspersons.
iv. To render services in connection with maintenance of related sports infrastructure.
v. To accompany teams to different level of tournaments.
vi. To perform additional duties as and when assigned by senior officials of the A&N SSC.
vii. To prepare teams for District Level, State Level and National Level tournaments.

[B][U]Terms and Conditions [/U][/B]:
1. The engagement of coaches/ Gym Instructor on contract basis will not confer on them any right of absorption or appointment on regular basis in the A&N SSC.
2. The engagement of coaches/ Gym Instructor in the A&N SSC will be purely on contract basis for a period of 11 months. 
3. The coaches/ Gym Instructor recruited for the A&N SSC will be posted in A&N SSC at any of the three Districts of A & N Islands.
4. No request to transfer to any other particular place during the contract period would be entertained. 
5. The discretion to post the selected coach/ Gym Instructor and the subsequent transfer will solely rest with the President, A&N SSC.
6. The coaches/ Gym Instructor recruited for A&N SSC will perform the duties as and when assigned by the Joint Secretary, SSC.
7. During the period of engagement the coach/ Gym Instructor will be paid a consolidated remuneration of  Rs. 32,000/- per month for working on 06 days a week (Sunday being a Holiday)

[B][U]8. The coach/ Gym Instructor selected will be entitled to avail leave as follows[/U][/B]:-
(i) Earned leave as admissible to the central Govt. Servant governed by the central civil services (Leave) Rules, 1972.
(ii) Half pay leave/commuted leave as admissible to a temporary Govt. Servant under the central civil services (leave) Rules, 1972.

9. The Coach/ Gym Instructor selected may be required to proceed outside the place of posting on official duty, in such case he/she will be entitled to TA/DA as admissible under the rules to non-official member of A&N SSC.
10. He/She will not be entitled to any other facilities like reimbursement of Medical Expense, Leave travel  concession etc.
11. The engagement with the SSC can be terminated after giving one month notice from either side.
12. During the period of engagement, the work performance would be under observation. If the  performance is not as per requirement then the agreement can be terminated.
13. He/ She may be asked to perform specific acts and duties and shall have to discharge them with full satisfaction of the supervising officer.

14. No request for any kind of transfer would be entertained whatsoever. However depending upon the requirements the A&N SSC can transfer the coaches/ Gym Instructor within the period of engagement to any other place of posting within A&N Islands.

15. This engagement will not entitle the coach/ Gym Instructor selected on contract basis to any claim,  neither will it bestow any right on he/she for his /her appointment as a regular employee of the A&N SSC.
