 Online admission test for admission into UG, PG programs in Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy.
 
 [B][U]Eligibility criteria[/U][/B]: 
Pass in intermediate or 12th examination from a recognized central / state board or its equivalent either in 2018 or 2017 and also rank obtained in GAT (UGTP) - 2018, subject to the following criteria:
 
     [B][U]B.Tech. programs[/U][/B]:
     A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and first class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
 
     [B][U]B.Tech. in Biotechnology[/U][/B]:
     A minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry and first class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
 
     [B][U]B.Pharmacy[/U][/B]:
     A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination with Mathematics/ Biology, Physics & Chemistry subjects.
 
     [B][U]B.Arch[/U][/B]: 
     A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination  with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects and also shall qualify in NATA / JEE (Main).

[B][U]Instructions, Terms & Conditions  [/U][/B]:        
  1. Carefully read GAT-2018 brochure contained information, before proceed to apply online. You can download brochure or go through online to read the content.  Click here
  2. Read all the instructions and eligibility criteria for admission test before proceeding to fill the online application form.
  3. Advised to take a print out of instructions so as to enable you to fill the online application form.
  [B][U]4. Registration Fee[/U][/B]: The registration fee for GAT-2018 is Rs. 1,000/- for Boys and Rs. 600/- for Girls.
 
 [B][U]5. Online Application Procedure[/U][/B]: It involves 3 steps:
  [B][U]Step1[/U][/B]: Fill the Online Application Form:
  The candidate should furnish all the details while filling the Online Application Form. After successful submission of the data, Application number will be generated and this can be used to complete the next step of the application form and also for your future reference.
 
 [B][U]Step2[/U][/B]: Upload of Photograph:
      Upload your recent passport size color photograph (Not older than 3 months).
     The scanned image of photograph should be in jpg/jpeg format.
     Size of the photo image must be more than 4 kb and less than 50 kb.
     Dimension of photograph image should be 4 cm (width) x 4 cm (Height).
  [B][U]NOTE[/U][/B]: There is an option to modify / change the details in the online application form even before proceed to payment. Once the electronic payment is done towards registration, you will not be accessed again to change the filled-in application form.
 
 [B][U]Step3[/U][/B]: Payment of Registration Fee through online:
      [B][U]Electronic Payment by Debit Card /Credit Card/Net banking[/U][/B]:
      The candidate has to select Debit Card /Credit Card/ Net Banking option for e-payment. After successful paymentof registration fee, you will be accessed to take printout of the acknowledgment.

      [B][U]Payment of registration fee through Demand Draft[/U][/B]:
       After filling the application form online, you are required to take two copies of print-out of the filled-in application form.Send one copy of the filled-in application along with Demand Draft (Rs. 1000/- for Boys or Rs. 600/- for Girls) drawn in favor of GITAM payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank  by  Registered  post / Speed  post  /  Courier  to  the DIRECTOR-ADMISSIONS, GITAM deemed to be UNIVERSITY, GANDHINAGAR CAMPUS, RUSHIKONDA, VISAKHAPATNAM–530045, ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA on or before 26th March, 2018.

Write the application number on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. You can keep the second copy of printout of the filled-in application form for your future reference.

[B][U]Note[/U][/B]: The candidate will be registered for GAT – 2018, after receiving the above said printout of online filled-in application form along with DD only.
 
 6. Enter the application number for taking the printout of online registered application form / acknowledgement at outside source. Click here
  
7. For best view use Internet Explorer while filling the application online, do not use the 'Back' button on the tool bar of your browser. Use the links and buttons available on the page to movefrom one page to other. Advised to close all the open browser windows after the complete process of online application to avoid unauthorized access.

 [B][U]Candidates can apply in any one of the following methods[/U][/B]:
      [B][U]To Apply online [/U][/B]:
         Mode of Payment - Internet Banking facility through Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card. For Candidates applying through Net Banking/ Debit Card / Credit Card there is no need to send the hardcopy of the application form.
        
 Mode of Payment – Demand Draft-Applicants need to send the hardcopy of the application along with DD to The Director-Admissions.
    
 Applications can be obtained by post from director-admissions by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate's name with complete mailing address accompanied by demand draft for Rs.150/- drawn in favor of "GITAM (Deemed to be University)" payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank. Request for applications by post will be accepted up to 24th March, 2018.
   
  Applications are also available throughout India in selected branches of Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Karur Vysya Bank. List of selected branches
 
 The filled in application along with demand draft for Rs. 1,000/- (Rs. 600/- for female candidates), drawn in favor of GITAM (Deemed to be University), payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank, should reach The Director-Admissions, GITAM Deemed to be University, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam - 530 045, Andhra Pradesh, India on or before 26th March, 2018.
