Application Form for Appointment of CEO on Contract Basis

The Karnataka State Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd., a premier Scheduled State Cooperative Bank having its Head Office in Bangalore, invites Applications for the post of CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER on contract basis.

[B][U]The eligibility criteria fixed for the above post is as follows[/U][/B]:-
[B][U]Qualification [/U][/B]:
1) Graduate with CAIIB/DBF/Diploma in Co-operative Business Management; or equivalent qualification; or
2) Chartered/Cost Accountant; or
3) Post Graduate in any discipline.

[B][U]Age [/U][/B]: Preferably Not above 55 years

[B][U]Experience [/U][/B]: 
The candidate shall have atleast 08 years’ work experience at the senior/ middle level officer in the Banking Sector. Senior/Middle level for the purpose shall be taken as the third level (Scale/Cadre) onwards (i.e. excluding the first two levels(Scale/Cadre) in the officer Cadre), or Highest two levels(Scale/Cadre) below the level of CEO.(i.e. Assistant General Manager Cadre and above but below the cadre of CEO)

[B][U]SALARY[/U][/B]: Consolidated salary of Rs. 1,20,000/- per month plus other benefits admissible as per terms and conditions to be stipulated by the Bank for this post.

[B][U]Mode of Selection[/U][/B]: Interview.

[B][U]INSTRUCTIONS [/U][/B]:
1. The Application fee of Rs. 590/-(including GST) in the form of DD/Pay order favouring The Chief Executive Officer, The Karnataka State Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. Bangalore payable at Bangalore should be enclosed along with the application. The application fee is not-refundable.

2.Mode of selection through interview.
3. The selected person shall give an undertaking stating he will serve the Bank for a minimum period of 11 months.
4. The candidates should have knowledge of Kannada to speak, write & read.
5. The duly filled application as per the prescribed Proforma shall be sent through registered post/Courier.
6. The candidate should submit the copies of educational qualification and other relevant documents along with application.
7. The knowledge of computer application and E-Banking services is preferable.
8. Any terms & conditions that may be stipulated by the Bank from time to time.

The Bank was registered on 10th November 1915 under the name and style of “The Mysore Provincial Cooperative Bank Limited,” under the Mysore Co-operative Societies Act of 1905. Then , the Bank was not an Apex institution, as it was not exclusively meant for financing the co-operatives in the then State of Mysore.

Another Bank called the Bangalore Central Co-operative Bank Limited, Bangalore (which was later converted into an urban bank), which was registered in 1905, was also financing the co-operatives. The bank owes its origin to Sri. M.A. Narayan Iyengar, B.A., B.L., who was the Registrar of Co-operative Societies at that time.[/QUOTE]
