[B][U]Merit Scholarships [/U][/B]:
** GIF offers scholarships to meritorious students for grades 9-12. Students who are presently studying in other schools/ boards/ countries can avail of the attractive scholarships to pursue their high-school and Junior College education at GIIS.

[B][U]Eligibility to apply [/U][/B]:
** if you have scored more than 90% in your previous exam or national board exams, you can apply for this merit scholarship.

[B][U]Full Tuition Scholarships [/U][/B]: (Needy Students)
** Students may apply for these scholarships in middle and high school.
** They may receive a scholarship in full or part as long as they meet the economic and aptitude criteria.
** Three types of tuition scholarships are available.
** 5 year Middle & Higher School scholarship (Grade 6 and 10)
** 2 year Junior College scholarship (Grade 11 & 12)

A. The GIF scholarships are Merit-cum-Need scholarships, awarded to meritorious students across Asia.

[B][I] Q2. How many scholarships will be awarded each year?[/I][/B]
A. GIIS awards upto 20 scholarships each academic year. The scholarships cover 100% of tuition fees.

[B][I] Q3. When does GIF award these Scholarships?[/I][/B]
A. GIF awards scholarships before commencement of the academic years. Scholarship announcements are made in various countries 3 months prior to the commencement of academic year.

[B][I] Q4. What is the selection criteria for the scholarship?[/I][/B]
A. Students who are 90% or above achievers, are eligible for the scholarship. Selection of students is based on their extraordinary performances in academics and/or ECA or CCA.

[B][I] Q5. What are the scholarship categories?[/I][/B]
A. There are 3 categories of Scholarships awarded 1) for outstanding academic achievements 2) outstanding sports achievements and 3) merit-cum-means scholarships.

A. Email your scholarship applications to the Principal of the GIIS school you are interested in, with attachments of previous years marksheets, birth certificate, other certificates and specify the reasons why you would like to apply for the scholarship.
