 RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF TEMPORARY Technician/Assistant Technician (Mechanical) Technician (Electrical) Technician (Instrumentation)
 
HOCL requires personnel for immediate appointment on TEMPORARY BASIS for the following posts at Ambalamugal, Ernakulam Dist, Kerala.

1. Technician/Assistant Technician (Mechanical)
2. Technician (Electrical)
3. Technician (Instrumentation)

[B][U]EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS [/U][/B]:
** Technician (Mechanical) - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
** Assistant Technician (Mechanical) - ITI / NCVT (Fitter)
** Technician (Electrical) - Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
** Technician (Instrumentation) - Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.

[B][U]EXPERIENCE [/U][/B]:
Minimum One Year experience in the relevant field in a large industry preferably Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery Plant. Apprenticeship of one year duration in similar industry will be treated as equivalent to one year experience.

[B][U]AGE [/U][/B]: Maximum age will be 30 Years as on 01.11.2017 (Relaxation of age to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen as per rules)

[B][U]PAY [/U][/B]:
Assistant Technician (Mechanical) - ` 22353/- (BP+VDA+HRA) per month.
Technician (Mechanical/Electrical)/Instrumentation) - ` 23990/- (BP+VDA+HRA) per month.

[B][U]TENURE OF ENGAGEMENT [/U][/B]: The engagement will be for a period of 90 Days and extendable as per requirement.

[B][U]GENERAL [/U][/B]:
1. Appointment will be purely on temporary basis. The employment will get terminated at the end of the engagement. The appointment will not confer any right on a candidate for any future employment in HOCL.
2. Reservation of posts will be applicable as per rules.
3. Only male candidates need to apply.
4. The pay shown above is all inclusive consolidated pay and no other allowances will be payable.

A format for application for employment is given along with this notification. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the same and fill the same in all respects. A recent passport size photograph is to be affixed on the space provided in the application. Self-attested photocopies (one copy each) of all relevant certificates and testimonials are to be attached with the application.

HINDUSTAN ORGANIC CHEMICALS LIMITED, a leader in Chemical Industry was incorporated in 1960 under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilisers. It is the largest producer of Phenol and Acetone in India.

HOCL, Kochi Unit situated at Ambalamugal, 15 kms away from Ernakulam city was commissioned in the year 1987 to manufacture Phenol and Acetone. The installed capacity is 40,000 TPA of Phenol and 24640 TPA of Acetone. A new project was commissioned in the year 1997 to manufacture Hydrogen Peroxide with an installed capacity of 5225 TPA.
