TSTRANSCO is one of the pivotal organizations of Telangana State. TSTRANSCO is having an Authorised Capital of Rs.1500.00 crores and is engaged in the business of Transmission of Electricity and other related activities in the state of Telangana. TSTRANSCO deals with EHT Power Transmission in the State of Telangana.

Applications are invited from qualified and eligible candidates for filling up of the post of Company Secretary (Ex-cadre) as detailed below. The incumbent is required to work under the control of Chairman and Managing Director/TSTRANSCO at its registered office at Vidyut Soudha, TSTRANSCO, Hyderabad

[B][U](i) Qualification [/U][/B]: Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India

[B][U](ii) Experience [/U][/B]: Minimum five (5) years post-qualification experience in the field of Secretarial Department, as per the provisions of the Companies Act of a reputed organization out of which minimum 2 years experience in Public Sector Power Utilities.

[B][U](iii) Age limit [/U][/B]: Maximum 44 years as on the date of notification as per the rules in vogue. 
[B][U](iv) Scale of pay [/U][/B]: 48525 – 1985 – 54480 – 2280 – 65880 –2545 –73515

The candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria may send their Resume, along with recent passport-size photograph and attested copies of certificates, etc., to the O/o. Chairman and Managing Director / TSTRANSCO, Vidyut Soudha, Hyderabad - 500082. The last date for receipt of application is on 29.11.2017 by 5.00 pm. Any application received after due date will not be entertained. The decision of the Management on selection of the candidate will be final.

TSTRANSCO has every right to modify / cancel the notification at a later date without assigning any reasons.

Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TSTRANSCO) came into existence on June 2, 2014 along with the formation of the new state -Telangana

The erstwhile State Electricity Board (SEB) which came into existence in 1959 was responsible for Generation,Transmission and Distribution of Electricity. Under Electricity sector Reforms agenda, the then Government promulgated Electricity Reforms Act,1998. The erstwhile SEB was unbundled into one Generating Company (GENCO), one Transmission Company (TRANSCO) and Four Distribution Companies (DISCOMs) as part of the reform process.
