NIMHANS Invites applications for the vacant posts mentioned below, in the prescribed form from the Indian Nationals for appointment On Contract Basis.

1. PHYSICIST FOR CYCLOTRON
[B][U]No. of posts [/U][/B]: 01 POST [UR]
[B][U]Educational Qualification [/U][/B]:
M.Sc in Medical Physics or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
i) M.Sc in Physics/M.Sc in Biophysics from a recognized University /Institution.
ii) Post Graduate Diploma in Radiological Physics (DRP) from a recognized University/Institution.
Should possess a certificate from the Regulatory Body (AERB), BARC, Mumbai, to work as RSO III.
[B][U]Desirable Experience [/U][/B]: One year experience in cyclotron operations.
[B][U]Upper Age limit [/U][/B]:  35 years
[B][U]Pay Band [/U][/B]: Rs. 15,600-39,100/-
[B][U]Initial Pay [/U][/B]: Rs.15,600/- + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/-
[B][U]Period [/U][/B]: On contract basis for 06 months likely to be renewed for further 06 months depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties or till the post is filled on regular basis.

2. TECHNICIAN NUCLEAR MEDICINE

[B][U]Educational Qualification [/U][/B]:
B.Sc in Nuclear Medicine Technology approved by AERB from a recognized University / Institution.
OR
B.Sc Degree in Physics/ Chemistry/BioChemistry/Microbiology/Life Sciences with PG Diploma (two years course) in Medical Radiation and Isotope Technology (DMRIT) approved by AERB from a recognized University /Institution.
[B][U]Desirable Experience [/U][/B]: 01 year experience in Nuclear Medicine and RSO Certification.
[B][U]Upper Age limit [/U][/B]: 30 years
[B][U]Pay Band [/U][/B]: Rs. 5200-20200/-
[B][U]Initial Pay [/U][/B]: Rs.8,560/- + Grade Pay Rs.2,800/-
[B][U]Period [/U][/B]:  On contract basis for 06 months likely to be renewed for further 06 months depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties or till the post is filled on regular basis.

3. RADIOGRAPHER

[B][U]Educational Qualification [/U][/B]:
Bachelor of Medical Radiologiocal Technology Course.
OR
B.Sc Degree in Radiography.
OR
Two Years Diploma Course in Radiography.
[B][U]Experience [/U][/B]: 01 year experience for B.Sc degree holders and 03 years experience for diploma holders in Radiological Techniques.
[B][U]Upper Age limit [/U][/B]: 27 years
[B][U]Pay Band [/U][/B]: Rs. 5200-20200/-
[B][U]Initial Pay [/U][/B]: Rs.8,560/- + Grade Pay Rs.2,800/-
[B][U]Period [/U][/B]: On contract basis for 06 months likely to be renewed for further 06 months depending upon the satisfactory performance of duties or till the post is filled on regular basis.

[B][U]TERMS & CONDITIONS[/U][/B]:
1. The application form should be downloaded from the Institutes Website nimhans.ac.in & submitted along with required copies of certificates of the Age Proof, Academic Qualification, Experience Certificate, photo etc, so as to reach The Registrar, NIMHANS, P.B.No.2900, Hosur Road, Bengaluru – 560 029.

2. Any modification or Corrigendum will be updated in the Institute Website only.

3. The prescribed application processing fee Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC / ST Candidates) shall be remitted to State Bank of India, NIMHANS Branch, Bengaluru, Beneficiary Name: The Director, NIMHANS, S.B Account No: 64118462718 and IFSC Code No: SBIN0040675, MICR Code: 560002480 and Branch Code – 40675 through online mode only.

4. No applications shall be entertained if it is incomplete/received after the last date prescribed/not forwarded through proper channel. The institute will not take responsibility for postal delay if any.
5. In case if it is felt necessary, the Institute may not fill up any or all of the above posts and if so, no separate intimation will be given to the candidates.
6. The Number of Vacancies may vary/likely to change.
7. Age relaxation will be given as per GOI rules.
8. All the enclosures should be neatly tagged to the application and name of the post should be clearly specified in the application form.
9. The last date for receipt of filled in application together with the relevant documents is on or before 30.11.2017 upto 4.30 P.M.
