[B][U]Library Trainee Recruitment [/U][/B]: 
The Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is a State University established by the Government of NCT of Delhi through Dr B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi Act, 2007. AUD intends to engage the services of Library Trainees through Walk-in interview  scheduled at 10.00 AM on 13/11/2017 in the office of the University Librarian, Ambedkar University Delhi,  Lothian Road, Kashmere Gate, Delhi.

The engagement for training will be for a period of six months only with a monthly  stipend of Rs.11,000/-. The age limit is 30 years as on 01/11/2017.

The candidates who have completed Master’s degree in Library & Information Science within two years with minimum of 50% marks and knowledge of computers are eligible to attend the Walk-in-interview.

The candidates who fulfill the above criteria are required to attend the interview with an application in the prescribed format alongwith self attested copies of education qualification certificates (Class Xth onwards) and with a photo ID proof (Voter ID Card/ Driving License/ Aadhaar Card etc.) issued by the Govt. authority. In-eligible candidates will not be allowed to attend the interview.

[B][U]Objective [/U][/B]:
** To familiarize interested and willing students of Library and information Science with Library Operations/ICT applications.

[B][U]Eligibility [/U][/B]:
** Applicable to Indian citizen only
** Training is open to students from recognised institutions and Universities with exposure to Library.
** Candidates who have been passing out in the last two years are eligible to apply for trainee/internship.
** Students with a placement in hand not eligible
** Age limit is 30 years

[B][U]Essential Educational Qualification [/U][/B]:
** Master degree in Library and Information Science with 50% marks.
** Knowledge of computer

[B][U]Scheme of Training [/U][/B]:
** The training period is normally for six months only,
** The brief introduction will be given to the trainees on joining day.

[B][U]Stipend [/U][/B]:  An amount of Rs. 11000/- per month will be given as stipend during the training.

[B][U]Other Modalities [/U][/B]:
** Trainee will be provided minimum logistic support. i.e computer and working space
** Trainee will work in the premises of the Ambdkar University Delhi Library or as per direction issued by the concerned officials from time to time.
** Trainee are required to give undertaking prior to joining the training programme that:
1. “He/She does not possess a placement for job/employment “and
2. He/She shall strictly maintain full confidentiality and secrecy of any information/ matter relating to University.
** The eligibility criteria for library trainee can be relaxed in exceptional deserving cases by the Librarian/Registrar.
** This will not entitle you to claim for any regular appointment.
** Your engagement as Library Trainee can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason/s thereof any without giving any notice.
