NABARD Consultancy Services Requires Project Based Contract Staff for Monitoring of Watershed Development Fund project at various locations

NABARD Consultancy Services Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NABARD, invites applications for the posts of Project Consultant (21 Posts) from individuals for Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation of Projects under Watershed Development Fund.

Under Watershed Development Fund, the programmes are carried out for land and water management, livelihood interventions through participatory approach.

[B][U]Eligibility Criteria [/U][/B]:
i. The candidate must be a graduate in relevant stream from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidate should have at-least 03 years of relevant work experience post completion of graduation; OR

ii. Graduate in any discipline with Post-Graduation/ PhD in relevant stream from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidate should have at-least 01 year of relevant work experience post PG/PhD qualification.

[B][U]iii. Relevant Stream for Graduation/Post-graduation/PHD are as under[/U][/B]:
Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Soil Science, Agronomy, Water Resource Development, Environment Science, Hydrology, Crop Science or any other related stream.

[B][U]Age Limit [/U][/B]: Minimum 24 Years and maximum 50 years as on 01 October 2017.

[B][U]Key Responsibilities[/U][/B]:
Each individual consultant is required to take up comprehensive monitoring of each watershed project to evaluate the field level implementation of the watershed development activities as well as their impact on the livelihood of the beneficiaries.

[B][U]Key responsibilities under the project will be as under[/U][/B]:
a. Periodic monitoring of the projects (Technical, Physical and Financial)
b. Identification of watersheds, desk and field appraisal of DPRs submitted by PFAs, preparation of MoS for Project Sanctioning Committee (PSC)
c. Scrutiny of disbursement claims of PFAs and processing of release claims
d. Conduct of meetings with PFAs and structured capacity building plan for NGO staff and village level organizations.
e. Assisting in preparation, desk scrutiny & field appraisal of DPRs of Climate Proofing Projects
f. Check, monitor and correct MIS entries at local level (PFA enter the data)
g. Support in (monitoring) data consolidation at district or Regional Office level
h. Follow up and monitoring of MIS and submission of report to Head Office
i. Documentation of best practices
j. Preparation/verification and submission of quarterly/half yearly progress report to Head Office.
k. Scrutiny and verification of Project Completion Reports
l. Web based monitoring of watershed projects through BHUVAN portal
m. Any other work assigned by the Regional Offices

**  Place of posting of the person appointed will be allotted in location as per Table 1. They may however liable to be posted anywhere in India as per project requirement. Candidates may apply for more than one State, they may however be selected on the basis of merit for that state.

**  Merely satisfying the eligibly criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview. NABCONS reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for the interview after preliminary screening/shortlisting with reference to candidate's qualification, suitability, and experience etc.
