Applications are invited from the eligible local candidates whose names are registered in the Employment Exchange and posses the requisite qualification for filling up of the following Group –‘C’ Non-Ministerial posts in the below mentioned category in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahargaon, Port Blair as per the details given below:-

4. Watchman (01 Post) (Reserved for OBC) - Level 1 (Rs. 18000-56900/-) (** Reserved for Male)

[B][U]Classification [/U][/B]:  General Central Services Group ‘C’, Non-Ministerial

[B][U]Educational & Other qualifications [/U][/B]:
[B][U]1. Essential qualification for the post of Physical Training Instructor[/U][/B]:
Degree in Physical Education from a recognized University.
Or
Diploma in Physical Education with 2 years experience as Physical Training Instructor from a recognized Institution.
[B][U]2. Essential qualification for the post of HVD[/U][/B]:
1. 10th Std. pass
2. Should possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence
3. Atleast 3 years experience in driving heavy motor vehicle.
[B][U]Desirable[/U][/B]:
1. Knowledge of Motor Mechanism and capable to locate and rectify minor defects in the vehicles.
2. 02 years experience in driving heavy motor vehicle. 
[B][U]3.Essential qualification for the post of Store Assistant[/U][/B]:
Xth Std. pass or its equivalent and knowledge of computer.
[B][U]Desirable[/U][/B]: XIIth Std pass with certificate course in computer
[B][U]4. Essential qualification for the post of Watchman[/U][/B]:
Must have passed Secondary School Examination (10th Std.) from a recognized Board/Institute.
[B][U]Desirable[/U][/B]:
1. Training in Basic and Refresher course in Home Guards and Civil Defence.
2. Ability to ride Bicycle.

[B][U]Age limit [/U][/B]: 
18-33 years for male and 18-38 years for female (Relaxable for Govt. Servants up to 5 years in accordance with instructions/orders issued by the Central Govt.)

[B][U]Note[/U][/B]:- The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of names/applications from the Employment Exchange/candidates.
