In continuation to our earlier Advertisement No: 17/SPSC/2015 dt: 13/05/2015 and Notice No: 92/SPSC/2015 dt: 06.06.2015 the Sikkim Public Service Commission hereby invites applications in prescribed forms from the eligible candidates for filling up of 04 (four) posts of Principal of Sikkim Government Colleges, (Namchi, Gyalshing, Burtuk & Rhenock) plus 02(two) additional posts of Principal in Sikkim Government Law College (Burtuk) and Sikkim Sanskrit Mahavidalaya (Samdong) in the PB-5 of Rs. 37400-67000 plus Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs. 10,000/- under Human Resource Development Department, Government of Sikkim through Direct Recruitment.

[B][U]CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY [/U][/B]:
[B][U]Post [/U][/B]: Principal of Sikkim Government Colleges, Namchi, Gyalshing, Burtuk & Rhenock.
[B][U]No of posts [/U][/B]: 04
[B][U]Minimum Educational Qualification [/U][/B]:
1. Post Graduate Degree in any subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. (Relaxation of 5% will be given to Ph.D degree holders who have obtained Master Degree prior to 19th September, 1991.)
2. Consistently good academic record.
3. Ph.D Degree.
4. 15 years College teaching/administrative experience.
5. “100% by direct recruitment and preference shall be given to local Lecturers working in various Colleges of Sikkim having Ph.D and a minimum experience of 15 (fifteen) years in their respective fields.”

[B][U]Minimum Educational Qualification [/U][/B]:
1. Post Graduate Degree in Law with atleast 55% marks or equivalent grade.
2. Ph.D degree in Law.
3. 15 years College teaching/administrative experience.

[B][U]Post [/U][/B]: Principal of Sikkim Sanskrit Mahavidalaya (Samdong)
[B][U]No of posts [/U][/B]: 01
Minimum Educational Qualification :
1. Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit/Nepali with atleast 55% marks or equivalent grade.
2. Ph.D degree in Sanskrit/Nepali.
3. 15 years College teaching/administrative experience.
4. Preference shall be given to candidates having Ph. D in Sanskrit.

[B][U]Desirable [/U][/B]:
(a) Honors at Degree Level
(b) Knowledge in any one of the local languages, viz. Sikkimese Bhutia or Lepcha or Limboo or Nepali.
(c) Candidates working in any affiliated colleges under Sikkim University and candidates holding COI/Sikkim Subject Certificate working in other Universities may only apply.

** Applicants should ensure that they are eligible and qualified on the date of application and their forms are complete in all respect. Application form should be supported by a copy of all requisite documents duly attested and No Objection Certificate from the appointing Authority.

Applicants are also advised to attach a brief resume separately along with their application form. Incomplete application shall be summarily rejected. Sikkim Public Service Commission shall not make any correspondence to any applicant in this regard at personal level.

The Applicants who has already applied in response to our Advertisement no. 17/SPSC/2015 dt: 13.05.2015 need not apply again. However, they are advised to verify their application regarding their eligibility and competency.

** Application form can be downloaded from spscskm.gov.in Complete application form should reach the office of the Sikkim Public Service Commission on or before 23/09/2017 on any working day between 10.30 am. To 03.30 pm along with original Bank Receipt of State bank of Sikkim, for Rs. 150/- credited to ‘0051-SPSC’.

The amount once deposited shall not be refunded or adjusted against any other purpose.

** One Stamp size photograph should be affixed on the application form in the space provided and two identical stamp size photographs with the applicants name on the back side of the photograph should be submitted along with the application form.

** No application submitted after 03.00 pm. on 23/09/2017 will be accepted. SPSC will not be responsible for late receipt of application due to postal delay or otherwise.
** Applicants are advised to go through the Advertisement scrupulously and fill in the form accordingly.
** No TA/DA is admissible for attending the examination/Interview.

** Admission at all the stages of examination for which applicants are admitted by the Commission viz. Interview Test will be purely provisional and is subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

If, on verification at any stage of the examination process, it is found that applicant do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, their candidature for the post will be cancelled by the Commission without notice.

** The Commission will not entertain any application on review or RTI/Correspondence till the entire process of recruitment is complete.[/QUOTE]
