The results of the TNSET Examinations conducted on 23.4.2017 will be published on 21th August 2017 at 5 pm in Mother Teresa Women’s University website.

THIS SITE WILL FUNCTION IN THE BROWSER   Chrome 55+ version AND,   Opera 42+ version.

For the next TNSET 2018, Physical Education and Library and Information Science will be included as subjects for the examinations.

[B][U]PROCEDURE & CRITERIA FOR DECLARATION OF RESULTS [/U][/B]:
This will comprise the following steps for considering a Candidate for the eligibility for Assistant Professorship: 
[B][U]Step I[/U][/B]:
 Minimum marks to be obtained in TNSET- 2017 for considering a Candidate for the eligibility for Assistant Professor:

[B][U]The Candidates are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper–III as given below[/U][/B]:
CATEGORY Minimum Marks (%) to be obtained PAPER – I PAPER – II PAPER – III
GENERAL 40 (40%) 40 (40%) 75 (50%)
BC/MBC/DNC/PwD/SC/ST 35 (35%) 35 (35%) 60 (40%)

[B][U]Step II[/U][/B]:
 Amongst those Candidates who have cleared step I, a merit list will be prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such Candidates.

[B][U]Step III[/U][/B] : 
Top 15% candidates (for each subject and category), from the merit list mentioned under step II, will be declared TNSET- 2017 qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. It may be noted that the above qualifying criteria decided by TNSET- 2017 is final and binding.

[B][U]PROVISIONS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITY(PwD) [/U][/B]:
1. Twenty five minutes compensatory time shall be provided for Paper -I and Paper -II separately. For paper - III, fifty minutes compensatory time shall be provided. These Candidates, on their request, will also be provided the services of a Scribe who would be a graduate in a subject other than that of the Candidate.

2. The Persons with Disability (PwD – Physically Challenged) candidates who are not in a position to write in their own hand-writing can also avail the services of Scribe by making prior request (at least one week before the date of TNSET-2017 Exam) in writing to the concerned Centre Superintendent.

Compensatory time and facility of Scribe would not be provided to other Persons with Disability (Physically Challenged) candidates.

3. The Candidate has the discretion of opting for his/her own Scribe or has to request the concerned Centre Superintendent for the same in writing at least one week in advance of the test. In such instances, the Candidate is allowed to meet the Scribe a day before the examination so as to verify whether the Scribe is suitable or not.

Those Candidates who opt for their own Scribe have to produce the Scribe before the concerned Centre Superintendent along with his/her certificates of educational qualifications at least one day before the test.

4. An amount of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) will be paid to the Scribe by the Centre Superintendent on the day of Examination for all papers.[/QUOTE]
