[B][U]Commander, Pilot Recruitment[/U][/B] :
HARSAC is in the process of procuring one Imaging Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for the survey work. Applications are invited for the posts of Commander (1) Pilot (1) and Helper (1) to  operate the UAV at HARSAC for a period of one year.

Details in this regard along with prescribed application form can be downloaded from HARSAC website (harsac.org).

The eligible candidates are advised to send their application forms either through Speed Post or Registered Post to Chief Scientist, HARSAC, Hisar 125 004 on or before 04.09.2017, by 5:00 pm along with the application fee of Rs. 200 / - (Rs. Two Hundreds only), in the form of DD / IPO drawn in favor of Chief Scientist, HARSAC, Hisar.

The appointments in the project will be purely on contractual basis and will be coterminous with the project.  It will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit, on any post. No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for written test / skill test and interview.

Plans the missions, and communicates the plan of execution with the team members, continues monitoring of the flight parameters, apart from performing the post flight processing.

[B][U]Essential Qualifications [/U][/B]: Ist class  Post Graduate Degree in Geo Informatics / Geomatics / Geo spatial Technologies / Physical Sciences  with a minimum of 5 years working experience with high resolution satellite data (HRS) and GIS or flying of Drones  
     
[B][U]Desirable Qualifications [/U][/B]:
      1.Should be proficient in using Google Earth and very good orientation in GIS software
2.Willing to work early in the mornings (especially in summer time)
3.Should be able to deduce from weather forecasts and plan the mission accordingly
4.He / she shall undertake thorough practical training in the operation of UAV. 
5.Should be a team player

Ensure proper assembly of the equipment, complete the pre flight checks, control the aircraft via remote control, in touch with the commander and to brief  about the aircraft behavior during the flight, and intervenes in case of emergency and to land the aircraft safely.

The appointment in the project will be purely on contractual basis for a period of one year or earlier or extendable as per project requirement. The selected candidate will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit, on any post.

The candidates will be required to appear for a  written / skill test at the time of interview. No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for written test / skill test and interview.
