[U][B]Retired OAS Officer Recruitment[/B][/U] : 
Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), a state owned power utility organisation in Odisha is engaged in the business of Transmission of electricity with a vision to emerge as one of the leading utilities in the country in Transmission space, invites applications for engagement of retired OAS(I) Officers as OSD (Land) on contractual basis for a temporary period of six months to look after the land related works, correction of Record of Rights and other estate activities of OPTCL.

[B][U]No. of Posts [/U][/B]: Two (2)
Suitable retired OAS (I) Officers will be engaged at Two different zones for zone-wise supervision of work and their Headquarters will be fixed at Sambalpur & Bhubaneswar.

[B][U]Eligibility Conditions[/U][/B]:
a) Retired OAS (I) Officers not above the age of 63 years, having good service records and who are physically fit will be eligible to apply.
b) The applicants should have adequate experience in land acquisition matters and should have worked as Tahasildar and Land Acquisition Officer, at least for a period of two (2) years.

c) Officers against whom departmental proceedings or criminal cases are contemplated or pending or who have been penalized for misconduct during the period up to five years preceding their retirement will not be considered for engagement.

[B][U]Selection Process[/U][/B]:
Selection will be made through personal interview by a Selection Committee.

[B][U]Tenure, Terms & Conditions[/U][/B]:
a) The engagement will be initially for a period of six months or till the officer attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. The engagement may be extended further depending on satisfactory performance and requirement of OPTCL.

b) Retired Officer will be engaged as OSD (Land) on contractual basis on fixed consolidated remuneration of Rs.25,000/- PM.
c) They will not be eligible for Dearness Allowance or any other Special Pay or Allowance, over & above the consolidated remuneration.
d) During the period of contractual engagement, they will be entitled to get Traveling Allowance for approved tours in line with the Corporation's prevailing norms.
e) He will be entitled for mobile reimbursement of Rs 1000/-PM.
f) Wherever required, free accommodation will be provided in the residential colony of the Corporation.

g) The engagement will be terminated at any time by the Corporation if performance is found not satisfactory with notice of one month, and in cases of any misconduct including but not limited to misappropriation, negligence or causing loss to the Corporation without any prior notice.

(iii) 2 nos. of recent passport size photographs.

The envelope containing application should be made super-scribed " Application for Engagement as OSD (Land) in OPTCL” and addressed to The GM(HRD)MPPR, Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., Janpath, Bhubaneswar - 751022, so as to reach on or before 20.07.2017.

The application should be sent by Regd. Post / Courier Service only. OPTCL shall not be responsible for any postal delay / wrong delivery / loss in transit. The application received after due date or incomplete applications or applications of ineligible candidates will be rejected without any further correspondence.[/QUOTE]
