[U][B]Assistant Teacher Recruitment[/B][/U] :
Applications are invited to fill up the vacant post of the Male Asstt. Teacher in the subject of i) B.Sc.(Pass) with Life Science(Gen) [for Pass category TET & B.Ed. must] in Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home Junior High School.

Candidates may download the Application Form and Admit Card from our Website from 4th July to 15th July, 2017. Submission of filled in Application Form & Admit Card by Hand only from 5th July to 15th July, 2017

Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home Junior High School, a Unit of Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home, Rahara and a recognized Non-Government Aided Junior High School is going to hold a Selection Test for the appointment to the post of Asstt. Teacher (MALE) against the vacancy advertised herewith in conformity with the autonomy regulations issued for the Ramakrishna Mission Schools by the Government of West Bengal.

[B][U]Eligibility & Essential Qualification Required[/U][/B]:
Any Male citizen of India may apply only for a single post of Asstt. Teacher. Every candidate shall require to possess such relevant qualifications as mentioned in the West Bengal School Service Commission (selections of persons for Appointment to the Post of Asstt. Teacher) Rules, 2016 and as subsequently amended.

a) Candidates applying for the post of Asstt. Teacher under Pass Category shall submit the proof of passing the TET conducted by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission,

b) However, B.Ed. or an equivalent degree in Teacher’s Training as per NCTE norms is mandatory for all posts.

[B][U]Age[/U][/B]:
Minimum 20 years as on 01.01.2017(i,e, Not born after 01.1.1997). Maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2017 for General Category(i,e, Not born befor 01.1.1977).
[B][U]Relaxation[/U][/B]: Upper Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 08 years for Physically Handicapped and 3 years for OBC (both A & B Category).

[B][U]Method of Recruitment[/U][/B]:
The Recruitment shall be made on the basis of selection (direct recruitment) formalities.

[B][U]Medium of Instruction in the Institution applied for[/U][/B]:
A candidate willing to be selected as an Asstt. Teacher in the Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home Junior High School, Rahara must have Bengali as first or second or third language at any of the Secondary or Higher Secondary or at any subsequent higher level of education.

[B][U]Question Paper[/U][/B]:
Pass (B.Sc.) category the medium of question paper will be Bengali only. However, candidates are allowed to give their answers either in Bengali or English. There will be both objective and subjective questions. There will be no negative marking.

[B][U]Admit Card[/U][/B]:
The Admit Cards for written examination for the post of Asstt. Teacher shall be issued by the Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home Junior High School, Rahara. The Admit Card will be handed over to the candidates on 17th July(Monday), 2017 from 11.00 noon to 1.00 p.m..

[B][U]Fees for Examination[/U][/B]:
Rs. 600.00 (Rupees Six hundred) only for General Candidates & Rs. 500.00 (Rupees five hundred) only for SC, ST and OBC Candidates (not refundable under any circumstances). This amount of money is to be deposited in cash only.

[B][U]Application Procedure[/U][/B]:
Application forms are available by Online only. Candidates can download the Application Form and Admit Card from our Website rkmjhsrahara.org from 4th July to 15th July, 2017. Submission of filled in Application Form & Admit Card by Hand only from 5th July to 15th July, 2017 (from 12.00 noon to 2.00 p.m.) excluding Sunday at our School Office.

Before filling up, please read this prospectus for proper post /vacancy (See Sl. No. 4). Over-writing and use of white ink are strictly prohibited. Applicants shall not use typed/handwritten copy of the said form. Such forms will be rejected.

[B][U]The following documents to be submitted alongwith the application form[/U][/B]:
a) Photo-copy of the Admit Card of Madhyamik Examination or equivalent standard.
b) Photo-copies of all relevant educational qualifications, mark sheets and certificates.
c) Photo identity proof.
d) Photo copy of Caste certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
e) Proof of passing TET, wherever applicable.
f) Letter of recognition of the B.Ed course in the relevant academic sessions by the Head of such institution.
g) Two recent passport size photographs.

[B][U]Submission of filled forms[/U][/B]:
The filled application form alongwith self- attested photo-copies of all necessary documents/testimonials, two passport size recent photographs.

[B][U]Method of selection[/U][/B]:
[B][U]Step I[/U][/B]: After receiving the applications, a list of eligible and rejected candidates will be given on our website and in School Notice Board approximately 01 week before the written examination alongwith the date, time and venue of the written test.

[B][U]Step II[/U][/B]: A shortlist of the candidates will be prepared based on the marks secured in the written examination, plus the marks awarded against his academic and professional qualifications, post-wise, category wise. These shortlisted candidates will be called for the Personality Test through a letter sent by ‘Registered post with A/D' , ‘Speed Post’ or ‘E-mail’.

[B][U]Step III[/U][/B]: The Personality Test will be for 10 marks and includes test on ability of controlling classroom situation and viva-voce.

[B][U]Step IV[/U][/B]: A cumulative merit list based on marks obtained in the written examination, academic including professional qualification and the marks obtained in the Personality Test will be published alongwith the marks and rankings; post wise, category wise on the website and School Notice Board.[/QUOTE]
