The following instructions with regard to preponement of Journey are modified and implemented w.e.f. 1st Sept, 2001 with a view to make them more passengers friendly.

** The preponed ticket is also allowed for cancellation. The refund against cancellation of preponed ticket will be made as per the cancellation / refund rules in vogue.

** The preponed ticket is allowed not only for the same service for another day but also to any other service for the same day or any other day. However, this facility is restricted to the same type of service and to the same destination.

** Preponement of date of journey and reserved ticket is permitted only once and such requisition has to be made 24 hours before the departure of the service.

[B]How to Postpone [/B]:

[B][I]1. Explain what is return journey ticket ?[/I][/B]
RJT is “reserving return journey ticket in advance i.e. at the time of onward journey itself”. The return journey seat can be confirmed while commencing onward journey or after performing onward journey.

[B][I]2. Is there any facility to book Return Journey Ticket through phone ?[/I][/B]
Passenger can book RJT over phone also.

[B][I]3. Who is an Authorized Ticket Booking Agent (ATB) ?[/I][/B]
A person appointed by APSRTC through tenders or nominated by Committee at regional level for booking advance reservation tickets to various long distance services operating from that place, is the ATB Agent.

[B][I]4. What are the services offered by Authorized Ticket Booking Agent ?[/I][/B]
The ATB Agents issue Advance & Current booking of tickets to various long distance services for the passengers in Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. These tickets can also booked over phone and get the tickets delivered at home at an extra charge of Rs.5/-.

Besides these facilities passengers can also buy CAT Cards & JET Tickets from these points. There are about 450 ATB Agents appointed at various places of important Cities and Towns. The details of these District ATB Agents can be had by contacting the concerned Regional / Depot Managers (These agents will sell only advance reservation tickets).

[B][I]5. Can I get my ticket reserved on plastic money (Credit card) ?[/I][/B]
Yes, if you are purchasing Advance Reservation Ticket either at MGBS( Hyderabad ) or JBS (Secunderabad) you can make use of your Credit card and APSRTC is not collecting any additional amount towards service charge like other business firms and the service charges are absorbed by APSRTC.[/QUOTE]
