[U][B]AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test[/B][/U] : 
            The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad will conduct “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” for the candidates seeking admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering/Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics / Institutions running as 2nd shift in Pvt. Engineering Colleges) in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2017-2018.

              Last date for sale of POLYCET booklet and filing of online application: 13/04/2017
      Date of conduct of POLYCET-2017 : 28/04/2017 Time: 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM

 [B][U]Instruction for filing up of Application Form for Computerization purpose [/U][/B]:
 1. Application form should be filled properly and legibly by the student in his/her own hand writing with Ball pen, (blue or black) in CAPITAL LETTERS only.
 2. Only good quality Passport size photograph should be pasted. Please do not staple or pin the photograph. Please do not sign on the photograph
 3. Only codes should be entered in the boxes provided against items 4, 6, 7, & 9 in the Application Form.
 4. Student has to choose the town/city in which he would like to appear for examination.
5. APOSS/NIOS shall cover Mathematics, Science and Social/Computers and should be passed in all subjects with a minimum of 35% in each subject.

SYLLABUS :
** The examination (POLYCET) will be of 2 hours duration consisting of only one paper as per the syllabus in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of X Class (S.S.C.) Examination.

** The Question paper consists of 120 questions with a choice of four responses for each question with only one correct response among them.
i) 60 Questions in Mathematics for 60 Marks.
ii) 30 Questions in Physics for 30 Marks.
iii) 30 Questions in Chemistry for 30 Marks.

** Candidates must remain seated in their allotted places till the completion of the Examination. In no case will they be allowed to leave the examination Hall till 12-00 Noon, i.e. one hour after the commencement of the Examination. Before leaving, the candidates must return the response sheet/answer sheet and can take away the question paper booklet.
