[B][U]Ph.D. Admission January 2015 session[/U][/B]: 
[B][U]Eligibility [/U][/B]: A student seeking an admission to Ph.D. Programme of the University is required to have minimum educational qualification as mentioned hereunder. Each of the Master Degrees referred therein is to be on the basis of two year full time programme.

[B][U]For research in an area of Engg./Technology  [/U][/B]: 
Based on the aggregate of all the semesters the minimum CPI of 6.5 or the minimum 60% marks either at B. Tech. or at M. Tech. /M.E. equivalent level, & M. Tech. /M.E. or its equivalent as recognized by AIU in appropriate area. OR
Based on the aggregate of all the semesters the Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area as recognized by AIU with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks with more than 15years of experience in an appropriate area

[B][U]For research in an area of Sciences [/U][/B]:  Based on the aggregate of all the semesters the minimum CPI of 6.5 or the minimum 60% marks in M.Sc. or its equivalent as recognized by AIU in appropriate area.

[B][U]For research in an area of Management [/U][/B]: Based on the aggregate of all the semesters the minimum CPI of 6.5 or the minimum 60% marks at a Bachelor degree and also at M.B.A. / M. Tech. /M.E./A.C.A./A.I.C.W.A./A.C.S. level or its equivalent as recognized by AIU in appropriate area.

[B][U]For research in an area related to Liberal Studies (English Language & Literature, Public Administration and Public Policy, Economics, Psychology, Political Science, & International Relations)[/U][/B]: M. A. with minimum 55% marks as aggregate of all the years or its equivalent as recognized by AIU in appropriate area.

[B][U]Selection Procedure[/U][/B]:
There will be a Research Aptitude Test (RAT) common for all the eligible candidates, followed by a Discipline wise proficiency-evaluation which may be in the form of oral &/or written test/s as to be determined by the concerned School for the research area in its purview.
The above referred selection procedure will be conducted on the prescribed date, starting with RAT. This will be followed by Discipline wise proficiency-evaluation on the same day from 1-30 noon onward.
While appearing for the selection procedure, the candidate is required to produce a set of all the relevant original testimonials in support of the application. The candidates are required to ensure all fulfillments to the eligibility requirements while applying for admission.

[B][U]Fees for a single Application[/U][/B]: Rs. 2000/- (Non Refundable)
[B][U]Semester Fees[/U][/B]: Rs. 50, 000/- per semester (except Hostel, Mess, Transportation & alike)
Other incidental fees shall be chargeable from time to time
The second semester fees shall be collected in installment of Rs.8000/- per month during the first semester from the fellowship given to the students if any by the University; and so forth for the fees of third semester onwards.
