Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited  -  Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RINL-VSP) is India’s first shore-based  integrated Steel Plant built with state-of-the-art technology and is a prime producer of long steel products  in the country having extensive market in infrastructure, construction,  automobile, electrical and forging  industry. With an annual turnover of  around  `13,500  crores, the Company is poised to commission its  second phase of expansion from 6.3 Mtpa to 7.3 Mtpa liquid steel capacity by 2014-15. The Company has  also  commenced plans for the next phase of expansion to 11 to 12 Mtpa  and diversify into flat products  for a better product mix.

[B][U]Qualifications[/U][/B]: 
i)   Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of  METALLURGY / MECHANICAL /  ELECTRICAL  from a University/  Institute recognized by AICTE with  minimum 60% of marks in the aggregate of all years / semesters (50% in aggregate for SC/ST/PWD  candidates).  Candidates must be in possession of Marks Sheets and Provisional Certificate/  Degree, all dated on or before 31.07.2014.
ii)   Should have qualified in GATE-2014 examination
Candidates failing to produce the Marks sheets  and Provisional Certificate/Degree, all  dated on or  before 31.07.2014, in original, at the time of interview shall not be allowed for interview. No other  documents in lieu of Marks Sheets and Provisional Certificate/Degree shall be considered.

[B][U]Age[/U][/B]:  Born not earlier than 1st March  1987.    Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer); 5 years for SC/ST  and  10 years for PWD candidates. Those domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir  from 1/1/1980 to 31/12/1989 will be allowed 5 years relaxation in upper age limit

[B][U]Selection[/U][/B]:
The selection process will consist of Group  Discussion  / Interview.    Eligible candidates  should have  qualified in  Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2014,  which was held during the month of  February 2014. 
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in  GATE-2014  will be intimated to appear for  Group Discussion / Interview  (which may be held at short notice).  Candidates should  visit the RINL  website from time to time for information on the same

[B][U]Training & Probation[/U][/B]: Candidates selected as Management Trainees  (Technical)  will be placed on training for one year.  On successful completion of training, the candidates shall be placed under probation for one year.

[B][U]Fee[/U][/B]: 
  [B][U]Application & Processing  fee [/U][/B]:   `150/-  (Rupees  One  hundred and  fifty  only) for General and OBC  candidates.
  [B][U]Processing fee  [/U][/B]: `50/- (Rupees Fifty only) for SC, ST and PWD candidates. 
 The Fee Payment Challan / Pay-in-Slip is  to be downloaded from the website after  filling in the basic  details.

[B][U]How To Apply[/U][/B]:
Eligible and interested candidates who have qualified in GATE-2014 only need to apply.    Application  for  the post of Management Trainee (Technical) in RINL-VSP shall be done  online only through VSP website   vizagsteel.com under the link “Careers”. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.
