[B][U]3.  CERTIFICATE COURSE IN SANSKRIT[/U][/B]: A pass in Higher Secondary Examination.

[B][U]4.  CERTIFICATE COURSE IN TELUGU [/U][/B]: A pass in 10th or S.S.C.

[B][U]5.  DIPLOMA COURSE IN TELUGU[/U][/B]:  A pass in Certificate course in Telugu or  Telugu as an Elective paper in M.A or attended the intensive course in Telugu in  any Institute or Educational Institution.

[B][U]6.  CERTIFICATE COURSE IN MALAYALAM[/U][/B]:    A pass in Higher Secondary  Examination.

[B][U]7.  DIPLOMA COURSE IN MALAYALAM[/U][/B]:  A pass in Certificate course in  Malayalam.

[B][U]8.  CERTIFICATE COURSE IN FRENCH[/U][/B]: A pass in Higher Secondary  Examination.

[B][U]9.  DIPLOMA COURSE IN FRENCH[/U][/B]:  A pass in Certificate in French OR with French under languages in + 2 Examinations OR with One Year certificate  course in Alliance Francoise, can join Diploma course in French.

[B][U]11.  CERTIFICATE COURSE IN CHRISTIANITY[/U][/B]: A pass in Higher Secondary  Examination.

[B][U]12.  DIPLOMA COURSE IN CHRISTIANITY[/U][/B]:  A pass in Certificate Course in  Christianity

[B][U]13.  P.G.DIPLOMA COURSE IN SIKHISM AND COMPARATIVE RELIGION[/U][/B]:  A pass in any degree.

[B][U]14. P.G. DIPLOMA COURSE IN SCIENTIFIC YOGA MEDITATION AND  HOLISTIC HEALTH[/U][/B]: A pass in any degree

[B][U]Tuition Fees[/U][/B]: (The fees for the courses are as follows) 
Registration Fee for all courses      -  Rs. 200/-
(i)  For CERTIFICATE COURSES    -  Rs.1,000/-
(ii)  For DIPLOMA COURSES      -  Rs.1,500/-
(iii)  For HIGHER DIPLOMA COURSES/ P.G. Diploma Courses  -  Rs.2,000/-
For all the above courses, the tuition fees should be paid at the time of admission. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of Registration Fee for one course  only.

[B][U]Examination Fees[/U][/B]:The prescribed examination fee for all the Certificate/Diploma/Higher Diploma/  Post-Graduate Diploma courses will have to be paid by the candidates at the time  of submitting their examination application form.

[B][U]Duration Of The Course[/U][/B]:
i) The duration of all Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma and P.G. Diploma  courses shall extend over a period of one full academic year (part-time). The  number of working days will be 150 days. 
ii) The duration of Certificate Course in Bio-Resource Management the number  of working days will be 50 days (Six months).

[B][U]How to Apply [/U][/B]: 
i)  The candidates may contact the following Head of the Department in  person  on or before  31.10.2014  with all required certificates in original  with Xerox copies for admission. The admission will be made on first  come first served basis

ii)  The candidates will have to produce all the  Original Certificates  concerned at the time of admission.

iii)  No candidate shall undergo more than one course of study and appear for  more than one examination at a time. This will not be applicable to  candidates studying one full time course and a part-time  Certificate/Diploma course.

iv)  The Tuition fee and other fees once paid will not be  refunded under any circumstances.

Application form can be downloaded from the University website. Filled in application should be  submitted along with a  Demand Draft for Rs.200/- towards Registration fee drawn on any bank in favour  of  THE REGISTRAR, MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY payable at  MADURAI.
The University reserves the right, to suspend the course, if sufficient  numbers of   candidates are not enrolled for this academic year 2014-2015.
